i bought that 2 years ago when i startet djing now its very nice for practising at home but dont use this to dj in a club cause:

no bpm counter ( you dont really need this but its nice to have)

loop function is bad there is always 1-2 seconds silence till your loop starts first time

you cant controll dj software or load tracks from your computer into your decks

Cue point function doesnt work anymore and i dont even know why -.-

but the good thing is pitching/beatmatching works nice with that=)

i have d cdm3600 and what a waste of money,cd 1 deck sometimes doesnt read da cd and to be honest the only good thing bout it is the mixer! its not a professional dj unit by any means sorry to say!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS UNIT!!...you cannot scratch and IT WILL mess up on you its just a matter of time. the components from which its built from are very cheap. i had it and one of the cd players stopped working within 2 weeks n then the other not long after that....if you are looking for a unit of this sort buy the american audio ck 1000 its much more reliable and you can scratch on it...if you r looking for something to hook up your laptop to get the numark mixdeck, also very good

HOLY SHIT why would you want to scratch with a cd mixer anyway!?!? i was gonnna cout but ill assume this question has been ASKED and ANSWERED like 30 times or more. scratching digitally would just be bad, so thats why they do not include it. (i know the 6000 has it). and hooking it to a computer, common really? they answered RCA to 1/8 jack to hook it up. if people still say how well ill explain. plug the two colorful jacks into the mixer. then the black skinny alone one into your computer TADA

You can connect the audio output of the laptop into a channel on the mixer. However, you cannot control the laptop from the CDM3600 in any way.

This unit does not offer scratching. It will play standard cd's only. There will be a new unit coming out that will offer scratching and play MP3 CD's or you always have the CDMP6000 which will play cd's, usb and offers scratching.

Just use the master rca output to connect to the amp and then plug the banana jacks into the the amp and the 1/4 jacks into the speakers.

yes it will. you will only be able to hear one side at a time however. i recommend at least some inexpensive computer speakers os that you can at least practice.

If you don't want to use an amplifier, you need to get powered speakers that have an amplifier built in to it. Either way, speakers need a power source. It is being amplfied in some way whether externally or internally.

Hey guys , i am seriusly considering to buy the Gemini CDM-3600, i just have a question, do i really need an amplifier to be able to dj with this system or not, because i think that as long as you have a pair of speaker you should do fine right? in my case i am getting the KUSTOM KPC15 15" PA speaker cabinet...so can anyone please answer my question. If you purchase those speakers, you will need an amplifier. The speakers will not do anything if there is no power going into it.
