this game is pretty hard to get in australia, my first copy was stolen and my 2nd copy took nearly 2 years of checking pre owned games at eb in many stores across sydney to find. great game and no point complaining about controls as they are exctually the same as the snes and ps controls 4 face buttons and 2 triggers same as sf has always been on consoles. all in all my 2nd fav game on psp and i still play it everyday

Wow, was on the edge about this, since I've only recently gotten into fighting games like Melty Blood and Tekken. I guess I'll give Street Fighter 3 a shot.

People complaining about the controls are infinitely noobs. It takes a little bit getting used to the psp controls but after like an hour of playing you wont even notice anymore, unless you really suck. in which case you should stick to the console versions.

Best Street Fighter game out to date. The only downside is that it doesn't have online play. If it did this would be SF perfection.

Stupidly complicated specials. I do wish they kept at least a hint of the original music, and original costumes. I despise the homosexual American commentator and The character design is a little unsatisfying for example M.Bison isn't as agile anymore and is fatter. Back to the shop it goes...

My personal expirence was one of very little/minor problem once ide got used to the playing the game on the psp. Guess it was diffent for your self. I get what your sayimng but Its not a great problem after a while ive found myself.

That's why there is button config.

You have the taunt button which I have no use for, and I just changed it constantly. For example, when I use Maki I set it to Alpha Combo 3 Lv 1, so I can do her strongest alpha move 3 times with A-ism. Or Set it to a special move you want like Shoryuken. You can also change it to variable 1 or 2, the only downside being you only get one free button like that. I think you might already know but I just didn't see it here :D

I think its a little cheating too :P

I CANNOT defeat Shin Akuma, he keeps using Shoryuken and Hadoken like crazy. All he does are specials lmao. he's impossible for me
