This was on a U2 site "This line in ATTTIHD by the Killers is an awesome lyric in my opinion. I bet Bono wishes he wrote it. Well in the current issue of RS (one with Colbert on it) Brandon Flowers was asked about that particular lyric, he says "I was listening to a lot of U2's the Joshua Tree and All that you can't leave behind and it kind of happened." Thats awesome how such a bono-escque line could happen from listening to u2." SO there you go.....THAT is why he finished it off
