  • Great video, but It would have been a little bit better without the music.

  • great car the Allroad!

  • your all so retarded it clearly says in the beginning 2.7t, sooooooooooo blind everyone wow

  • Hey so sorry to be an idiot, I just watched it again and now I know it's a 2.7. Any aftermarket turbos or motor work ??

  • Good stuff man !!!! Is that a 2.7 or a 4.2 ? I just bought a 2001 allroad and am pretty new to the whole Audi thing, but I do like EVERTHING so far ! Do you think you could have passed them sooner with tiptronic shifters on the wheel ??

  • do you have the 4.2?

  • What's the song?

  • The song is The Distance by Cake

  • Sweet!

I assume you had the suspension at level 1. Also, did you have the Tiptronic set on "S" and did you turn off "ESP"?

  • I was at level one and did a 402 Mod (-10mm), ESP on, Tiptronic was in manual mode, I did most of the shifting. The transmission would shift even though I didn't want to shift when at the top of the rev's (I guess it is try to save the engine)

  • Yes it was at level one, I was doing the manual shifts on the Tip, and ESP was on.

  • ESP on a race track

    FAIL.

  • that you are into racing, do you have any data on 0-60 a=with 93octane? and how much of a difference do Hsways make?

  • My point? If someone thought my Focus actually passed the 300, I would point out that the 300 was not going all out when I did. My comment was more for those 2 who made a "wow, you passed a porsche" type comment.

  • its funny how nucks416 got all worked up about how the driver passed the porshes

  • I agree, the idea behind DE's is that the slower driver give a courtesy point to pass. I was running faster this day on the track then a few cars. I know that the Allroad is not even close to what the Porsche can do with the right driver. The point of the video is that the Allroad is a capable car on the track.

  • Yes I noticed the corner workers flagging down both cars. I also noticed that the last 911 that you "passed" was mostly out of view until the last lap of the video. All the more reason to believe he was told by the instructor to slow down. Why wouldn't others think a Allroad could be driven on a track? Even my stock 2003 Ford Focus SE has seen track time, even passed a turbocharged 300ZX ... who was obviously slowing down for one reason or another as I didn't see him until the last run.

  • Funny how the fact that the Porsches LET him pass was left out! Note the break lights in the straight away for each passes! Also note that for the 2nd Porsche, anyway, that was passed, there are two passengers - driver and instructor. I've done this event before and when the instructors are teaching they will often get the driver to slow down and try new things ... like trailbreaking. Seriously, did you think an Audi wagon could beat a Porsche?!

  • yes the second car did brake, and let me pass. But if you where paying attention to the corner workers you would notice that they told the driver to let me by. I agree that the Porsche will likely beat a Audi wagon, I was passed by a few Porsches (997C2S, 996C2), but I managed to pass 3 911's and 2 928's, but it was a DE and who knows what the other drivers were up to? Anyway the purpose of this video was to show that an Allroad can be driven on the track (and my 997 was not available).

  • Wait, yours is 2003, so NOT HP2 calipers ...

  • Not sure what the HP2 calipers are, but the brakes where completely stock.

  • Thanks for posting this.

Good to know what AR can do on a track with H-sport bars. I assume you have HP2 front calipers?

  • Doh!

I just read the opening credits.

I guessed it was a Tip by the quick shifting.

  • Hi edwardgeneration.

Is this six speed stick or five speed Tiptronic.

It certainly shifts quickly judging from your right hand movements.

  • I love it! I have a 2004 allroad 4.2 V8 and took it to Grattan Race Track in Michigan. An allroad can climb mountains as well as drive on race tracks. It is not your father's station wagon.

  • hey dude is that 2.7T or 4.2. I have buy one 2003 2.7T and I'm waiting the car from USA :)

  • It is a 2003 2.7T with an APR 93 Octane Chip. Car is fast for a heavy Wagon. Enjoy your car.

  • thnx friend... i will enjoy... Is handling very good ?

    I think that stock 2.7T can reach 230 km/h ?

  • Way Sick!!! Very nice driving good Sr.

Best Allroad video period. What did those porsche guys have to say after you kept up in the corners and burned them down the straight. WHP of you allroad? Porshes you passed WHP?

I own a 02 Allroad thinking of chipping and exhaust.

This makes me want to even more.

Again great video Allroad all the way!

  • I don't know the WHP of any of the cars, I was loosing ground to them in the straights, but caught them in the corners and under braking. I have a H-Sport Sway Bar, and I highly recommend that you upgrade the sway bar, well worth the money.

  • Yeah it would sure help tame the heavy Allroad. Again good racing chap.

  • NICE! Good to see an Audi wagon can keep up/ beat up those P-cars. I wonder what the guys in $90k plus sports cars are thinking when they get passed by a wagon!

  • I wanted to leave my child seat in the rear, but took it out for safety reasons. At the beginning of the day a few people were laughing and saying "who brought the SUV" at the end of the day it drew a lot of interest as the car was very balanced in the corners and the stock brakes did fairly well (until they glazed over before the last session).
