I have my head in my hands when I think of the hopelessness and corruption of our political system.
During a spell of unemployment a few years back, I'd clean gutters, cut lawns/hedges, unblock drains, anything to stop me claiming dole money so as not to be a burden on society. 116k would just set me up for life, and in the future I fear that I'll be more socially selfish thanks to things like this and millions of immigrants on benefits.

@HarrysSecret I agree completely. If a person on benefits (taxpayers money) and they went to the Job Centre and asked to claim a second housing benefit claim to rent a second home, they would be told, without hesitation, to jog on!!!!

If an MP defrauds their expenses of £100K they get a slap on the wrist and told to say sorry and not do it again. If a banker defrauds the system of £100M they get a massive bonus, a huge pension and a knighthood.
