Here was my problem in Ukraine. I was getting shot at so much that on three separate attempts with one other guy, I kept getting my timing wrong, and the missile launched. That or the other guy would die at the other switch with 30 seconds left.
I can't seem to jump high enough using this glitch... Despite following your videos with close attention, my character ( a male) can't seem to jump high enough to reach the Carthage window nor the Taherir SCUD ledge...
@aKRYPTONIANx Where did I claim to discover this or take credit for it? You say you read every message posted and yet are mistaken. I never responded to those messages because I don't know the exact origin. I found out from word of mouth and accidental discovery. In fact, this glitch happens every now and again without intention and is easy for anyone to discover out of pure luck.
How are u guys jump glitching to the missile override switch? I can do the jump fine but I keep bumping my head on the roof, it seems the platform seems too small.
@billybob5201996 Try going diagonally. There's a little opening in the upper platform to jump through and you'll also have more room to roll on the ground.
Theres a new private server for Omega strain so you guys no longer need the jump glitch to get team objectives although it is still very useful to know how to do it. Go to the gamefaqs Omega strain forums to find out how to get online there.
@DaveWreckingCrew I'm pretty sure it's just a coincidence. If I'm gonna watch a character's ass roll around all day, I'd prefer it belong to a female :P
and for dobba, I usualy try to push X just before my guy's head is about to touch the floor, so try around that point. Dont try and do it at the point hes showing that he jumping because you will be to late every time cause of how fast it happens.

i love this game but sadly when i got it... it was a month b4 servers shut down so i couldnt get good in time. I actually did this glitch by accident b4 watching this. i did it one day and was like WOAH THAT WAS COOL so i checked to see if it happened to anyone else and look, you have it posted. I will never lose interest in this game ive had it for years and still, im not bored of it. this game just speaks to me, i can never quit i love syphon filter ,all of them. thank you evry1 for this game.

@MattyBoy714 which part is possble to get it to T3 cause the only online one was Belarus 1 (Escort all workers to safety) and 2 (Destroying the tank) and Urkraine (stopping the Missile) left
@Maurjen It's possible, but difficult, to destroy the tank and stop the missile on your own. The only objective that can't be done is escorting all the workers. You can escort them all, but it won't count unless you're online.
ive noticed that im not going very high when doing the jump glitch. From comparing my jumps to yours. im way off of getting into the Broussard Laptop window. its very weird
i love how I have sat in Carthage 1 trying to jump through that window to get the laptop and couldn't do the jump....but got to the part where i play with Gabe and i was crouching and rolling to get closer to the target and he kept doing the jump so I kinda kept gettin caught...>.> damn glitch not working when I want it to
@1984pchela ok, u know where the elevtr is to take the workers to safety is? ok AS SOON AS U BEGIN BELARUS 1, run to that building first, ignore everything and run to that building, as soon as u run in through the door turn to ur right, the cow is big so u wont miss it. if u dont know where it is, follow the train tracks till u find the acual train and the guys moving the dead workers, there is a door, go in and turn right, good luck

@CalemCems hey dont worry about online play anymore. they shut down the servers bcuz only 500 people played and it kept decreasing everyday so they decided to shut them down. sorry

@CalemCems yeah but the good news about the jump glitch is that you can complete some of the team xhallenges by yourself. take yemen 2 for example; as soon as u walk out the door after u collect ur weapons their is a crane right above you and thats where the missle chip is that u need to get.

Might be your memory card. I've got a PS2 slim also and have trouble saving on one of my cards, but on the other it works every time. Just push in on one side of the memory card a little bit. It may not move much, but it works for me.

It means you're finally getting the hang of it, but still have to practice a bit more. It's easier to pull off on sloped or stepped areas (like street curbs or railroad tracks).

I haven't played the game in a long time so I'm not entirely sure, but I think you can quit after completing an objective and it'll still count. Only one way to find out! :)
What a shit, men. I don't know why I can't do it. He really jumps but I can't get the top of some places, for example Myanmar, 2nd Mision in Yemen, etc. If somebody knows the reason, please answer me.
Or turn on ur flashlight and after rolling u should see a flash from the light, nd if u time it right by pressin X then X again when he is just bout to get up, he should pop up into the air. THIS REALY WORKS
I have multiple T4 characters. I used to play the game a lot back when the servers were still up, so I was able to complete the team objectives pretty easily with other people.
When I first made this video I was considering doing another series of video walkthroughs for the game Manhunt since a lot of people liked my vids for SFOS. But then I found a bunch of other videos for Manhunt on YouTube, so I didn't bother.

Nothing helps it's all about timing.If you can't get the timing how this video shows you try this when you role as your agent ASS is about to hit the floor that's when you press X.
Yep, it works on all versions. Like I said in the video, it's very difficult and takes lots of practice. Don't get frustrated if you don't get it right away ;)

Did you get the par time on the first three Carthage missions? You have to beat the single player par time on those first before you can use the neck breaker.
It can be done, but it is extremely difficult and requires perfect timing with the jump glitch. It comes down to tenths of a second. I've never done it myself, or actually seen any proof of someone else doing it, but I've heard it can be done. So it's not confirmed, but apparently possible.
its not hard to do by mistake everytime I roll off stairs I get killed lol I thought it was a Bug but it's helpful to do some offline team missions and Mattyboy show them.I never got the yeman 2 though it just never work there.
Like I said in many other comments and even in the video itself, it takes time! You have to be patient and practice. You can't just do the jump glitch instantly after just one day...

hey matt the only time i can do the jump glitch is if i kind of but at the same time not accidently try and i am by an object like some bricks, or just some piece of crap in the way then my guy does that and just goes over but i can never do it when i need it by force. i always press circle and wait for my guy to go on his back then i press x and x real fast....never works

Any form of broadband is fine. However, the servers are shut down, so you can't play online anyway :(

when i try to jump glitch to get the flight recorder on myanmar i somehow manage to pull it off but i somehow don't get high enough to reach the ledge i just jump a few feet. why?

do u have to be on flat ground cuz i do it on myanmar and its alittle bumpy and wont let me do it so i can recover flight record and i can do the glitch jump easy but it wont let me do it

I haven't played the game in a long time so I'm not entirely sure, but I think you can quit after completing an objective and it'll still count. Only one way to find out! :)

Yes you can quit and still get objective complete... Happened to me in Carthage to get the laptop.

1) The game is old as hell.
2) Servers cost money to run.
3) Hardly anyone played on the servers when they were still up.

Or turn on ur flashlight and after rolling u should see a flash from the light, nd if u time it right by pressin X then X again when he is just bout to get up, he should pop up into the air. THIS REALY WORKS

I have multiple T4 characters. I used to play the game a lot back when the servers were still up, so I was able to complete the team objectives pretty easily with other people.

You really only need to press X one time at the right frame, but I find that pressing it twice helps with the timing.
Some people say holding a rifle and turning the flashlight on helps, but I haven't noticed a difference.

Nothing helps it's all about timing.If you can't get the timing how this video shows you try this when you role as your agent ASS is about to hit the floor that's when you press X.

Yep, it works on all versions. Like I said in the video, it's very difficult and takes lots of practice. Don't get frustrated if you don't get it right away ;)

Did you get the par time on the first three Carthage missions? You have to beat the single player par time on those first before you can use the neck breaker.

It can be done, but it is extremely difficult and requires perfect timing with the jump glitch. It comes down to tenths of a second. I've never done it myself, or actually seen any proof of someone else doing it, but I've heard it can be done. So it's not confirmed, but apparently possible.

hey matt the only time i can do the jump glitch is if i kind of but at the same time not accidently try and i am by an object like some bricks, or just some piece of crap in the way then my guy does that and just goes over but i can never do it when i need it by force. i always press circle and wait for my guy to go on his back then i press x and x real fast....never works
