This is one of my favorite movies. Love this scene! It proves that you don't have to take your clothes off or say a bunch of cheesy lines to create a truly beautiful romantic scene. The chemistry is totally there. Love Sandra and Keanu acting together.

I think remakes can be okay if done differently enough to make a new statement plus some stories/movies will never get seen by younger generations if there aren't remakes. You know "You've Got Mail" is a remake of a Jimmy Stewart Movie "The Shop around the Corner." Great movie, but bet most have not seen it, but HAVE seen "You've got Mail"

What I like about this movie is that even to a 17 year old girl who doesn't find Keanu particularly dreamy, it makes you cry; It's not about watching sexy people running around doing sappy stuff, it's about the importance of finding the right person, and not just settling for what's financially, socially logical--even when you're in your late 30's, a time when most people give up.
