as I showed and said in the vid, I put them facing to the sides of the controller. They only screw your eyes if you look directly into one. I think I have a vid of a laser led in a ps button, and it was bright as hell so I moved it a bit.

To answer your second Question, the is only so much power comming out of the controller's battery, I would say the more laser leds, the less bright they are or dim they are
