we were stoked to be at the show, One of the older punks in the scene was Mad Mark Rude he was cool to us kids and was more than happy to take our handfuls of pocket change and get us a few can's of beer from the liqour store, we'd drink with him in the back alley, he was friends with the guy putting the shows on and would sneak one or two of us in the back door for free
cool footage, I saw the U.K.Subs play at Adams Ave. in San Diego California when I was young can't remember what year it was but they had just released the songs War of the Roses and Police State. First time I ever staged dived. I was something like 13 or 14 years old, we'd get one of our mom's to give us a lift to the show, and all the punk's outside would give us a hard time and slag us, but we didn't care. I am approaching my 105th birthday, and doing well with the self-medication(red wine mostly, brandy and the odd Guiness). Tremendous energy(UK Subs...not me) Can't wait to see 'Punk Can Take it'. I can!

Charlie Harper is almost 70 now but still rocks with the best of them. UK Subs have always been an underrated.
