Saud's a man of faith, but not a strong believer. I think in this song he is demonstrating his hate for hypocritical christians. Foolish christians have planted hate in his heart towards christians. Don't judge Jesus Christ based off certain christians acts. Because nobody is perfect regardless of thier faith. But I do feel a bit confused by the fact that he's in Crimson Armada (a lyrically christian band) and The Holy Guile. (which obviously isn't lyrically christian) A bit on the fence.

Dude, this is what they should've kept doing. Guardians was flawless, as is this. Thank you Saud. Guardians was pure energy, there own music. The record label had a huge influence on cinviction
@fireburnudown The first major release from The Crimson Armada, Guardians, had this particular deathcore style sound. The Crimson Armada's second release, Convictions, was VERY poorly received mainly because they abandoned their unique style and went with a more generic metalcore screamo style. The Holy Guile is TCA's side project (or Saud's) and they decided to go back to the original sound of Guardians (hence the title of the album). Hope that helped a little.
@fireburnudown Oh Convictions is certainly not without merit. There are some great songs but it is certainly a shift in musical style toward a more common metalcore sound.

ya folks. Saud always said he wasn't christian... he believes in God but doesn't believe the christian theology, he believes God is more loving than what the Christians show. I realize why he says this. Two of the former members of TCa were christians, josh and David, but they left. I will always love Saud and this sound of music but it hurts to see how people were kind of fooled by his love for God but not for Jesus. still though this is insane music! i love Jesus and i will listen to this song

ima christian and vie been listening to TCA's for i while!!! ima fan of what they do. and i understand where this song is coming from (don't get me wrong from my last post). its hard to claim to be a christian in a world that already hates us, but when your own kind (meaning christians) start calling you a devil worshiper because you play death metal music for God then its impossible not to feel angry about it.

They could be Christians IN a band, but not necessarily a "Christian band" Like As I Lay Dying, they say they arent a Christian band, instead they are "Christians in a band"

@noreligion777 a Christian band is like For Today, Mortal Treason, Becoming The Archetype. Bands that have religious references in their music. Bands that, during their live shows, spread the word of Christ. Christians in a band are bands like Dead Poetic, Emery, The Devil Wears Prada. Where they're music is not in reference to Christianity, or really religion at although they have a positive message. Sure there are some exception, Dead Poetics Bliss Tearing Eyes is one. as well as others.
