  • Does it help with cardio?

  • RIP Steve. I miss ya buddy.

  • @MoldytoasterMedia howd he die?

  • so i take creatine pills or powder, i get the same results like you mentioned? I just really wanna make sure before i spend 30$ on them

  • im taking eas myoplex 25g every morning is it ok to take creatine?

  • Creatine....not even once

  • You were very clear but I still want to clarify something. When you run short on ATP (in the gym for example) I assume you start feeling lethargic? When creatine is used pre-workout, is the extra ATP the reason for the extra energy?

  • Nice shorts there coach.

  • Guys, I work out everyday. I didn't used to yak creatine but I started two days ago. It is full of so much sugar (gnc brand) I've started to gain weight in fat. It's ridiculous and makes no sense. I take it with Gatorade and all together it's 51 g of sugar. I'm 16 I'm not supposed to get big like this! Help anybody?!

  • @BackwoodsArsenal why the hell are you drinking gatorade? maybe that's your problem

  • @Falckjazz I thought about that, so I started drinking it with super light gatorade that only had like 2g of sugar. I'm off it now and seeing pretty fine results with whey and stuff.

  • @BackwoodsArsenal Okay, you would not notice weight gain in 2 days first of all, so I don't see how your saying taking Creatine for 2 days caused your weight gain. Secondly, you're taking it with Gatorade, all that sugar isn't good for you bro, lol.

  • It isnt a steroid. Ill dumb it down for some of you. It makes your body regain energy faster through chemicals. So usually, when you start to feel tired, if u took a creatine, you would be able to go alittle further.

  • So ive been working out for about 2 weeks now using no supplements at all and i was thinking about using creatine.. Creatine to me has been described as the "Safe steroid" (Like its like steroids, only no harm) Is that true? How fast will you see results if you are working out on a regular basis? Thanks for all of the help! Good luck everyone!

  • Idiot, Honestly you can tell that you dont understand or know anything you just read off , FLipping freak , We can go on wikipedia and read that why would we need you To read it for us? AS if we can remember it better muppet

  • Should you take 5 grams of creatine 1 hour before you workout? I heard you're only supposed to take 5 grams of creatine a day because any more is a waste.

  • any negative sideeffects? Did you use it? Any valuable experience? Do you recommend using it?

  • @VisionimagifyTV yea i threw it away and got some kaizen creatine monohydrate!

  • nice package !

  • sir..id like to ask a simple question..ive done my research on creatine.. nyway.. i also know it helps you store water in your muscle... would you recommend using creatine while loosing bodyfat?

in the process of cutting you are volumizing your muscle(since you train rather abit high rep)..hence gaining abit of muscle mass..my question is if u take creatine will it help u in anyway? ( my calorie intake is perfect according to my knowledge divided among 7 meals..so i wont loose muscledefinately

  • @alir90 Creatine is an energy molecule for anaerobic activity. It will not aid in fat loss.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV .. Thanks :)

  • will cee help me gain weight? Im totally desprerate! pls tell me what can help me gain at least 10 lbs in 2 months andd does it matter if im a girl

  • @laughykassie Creatine will not help you can weight. Just eating more food will cause weight (fat) gain.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV Obviously i know this but it isnt working.. i eat at the least i eat 2500 to 3000 calories.. and what im eating defineitaly isnt healthy, i was thinking more of good drinks or powders that help weight gain fast... is there a good one

  • @laughykassie I hate to tell you this but you're not eating 35000-3000 calories a day. That's a lot of food.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV i said 2500 to 3000... and i really do i eat non stop all day and its mcdonalds and junk food and im starting to already have heart painss

  • @BodyPerformanceTV lol your off ya head

lol where you stoned at the time you wrote that

i was thinking about buying creatine and i was looking for ten minutes for your videos because your the only bloke i believe on youtube

  • @BodyPerformanceTV are you an ex-ranger, sf guy, or marine or something?

  • Steve is ti true that you need to be 18 to use creatine?

  • @Haburkanka No

  • @decisionvida Nope

  • Hey i am a 128 pound man and im using six star pro nutrition creatine x3 and on the label it says to take 1 scoop which equals 50 grams of creatine but other people tell me to take only 5 grams but the label says one whole scoop which is 50grams? help me please! thanks

  • @iModpsp You only need 5-10 grams a day. Check the label. 1 gran = 1000mgs

  • hello Steve my question is do you recommendo L-arginine like force factor will it really help gain muscle like it says thank you

  • yes yes yes!! i get it aDp!!! to aTp!!!!! lol

  • i have heard that creatine only makes the muscles absorb water, making someone bigger not stronger or more toned. is this true?

  • @Blink182nt Water retention makes you a little stronger and more defined but not as much as pure concentrated non water muscle

  • I've always been able to keep natural muscle and abbs from just sports and jogging and medium level lifting because im in junior high. but next year im going into highschool and im wanting to have a full on 6pack and ripped arms before football so what im wanting you to put a video up of is like what powders to use.. like which is better? creatine or protein powder? or creatine pills or all 3? i need help and could u please give me an answer?

  • @fearhunter09 Neither protein powders nor creatine will give you a six pack. Losing body fat will give you the six pack and consistent hard lifting will make you muscular.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV thanks!

  • A'T'P...A'D'P...A'T'P...and so on.

  • creatine just puts water in your muscles to make you look big

  • Is it good to take creatine at 16 y-o ?

  • hey Steve, i have a question, i bought a creatine shake just a week ago the label is called "Muscle Tech Cell tech" the reason why i bought this was because i really wanted a shake for my post workout.im also struggling to build muscle as well NE ways my only concern with the shake is that ii has 75g of sugar per shake.is it okay to take it?and also my workouts are intense and heavy.and all my carbs, proteins, fats and calories come form my food through out the day.

  • @The52warriors Yes. Actually, after hard workout the body needs simple sugars not protein. People don't realize this.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV thanks for your response.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV

Hi, my goal is to build a stronger back and stronger biceps & legs ( build more mass)..

However, i want at the same time to life a lot of weight. is creatine suitable for me .

i have been training for 4 months

  • Steve, You ignored the issue that the health community has with creatine. There are no 80 year studies on the use of creatine. In fact there are no 20 year studies on the use of creatine. If you have a healthy body, and you don't have the potential to gain large amounts of money by using creatine it's a risk not worth taking. If you are say a football player that's at peek performance and a couple percentage will earn you a spot in the NFL then go for it.

  • @MsDorabelle Also I want to mention I'm a fan of yours you do a good job.

  • thank u steve, u r the reason I became buff and got into marketing. Thank you. u put meaning and confidence into my life.

  • i dont know if im clutching at straws here, but i cant understand why the sudden hair deterioration ? ive only started taken creatine in addtion to normal food cosumption, and the hair problem started right about the time i started taking creatine?

what should i do? should i stop, should i continue taking it? any legit studies confirming Creatine casues hair loss due to DHT increase or not?

    ty

  • hi STEVE. i have one question about Creatine.

ive started a creatine cycle 3 weeks ago, for the past 2.5 weeks, ive noticed my hair has visibly thinned alot, and lot of her falling out when im having a shower or comb my hair, particularly around the crown area, and on the flip side my beard is growing much faster and coarser hair

so i googled Creatine + Hair, and i saw many websites regarding this matter, and people complaining about hair loss & creatine, apparently its due to spike in DHT

  • @arsenalmanic I am not aware of any relationship between the two. Creatine is non-hormonal and improves ATP production.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV

thank you for your prompt response sir, appreciate it

  • @arsenalmanic my hairs fucked and im 17 been taking creatine for years

  • @johnosandra

sorry to hear that man. Ive stopped taking mine for the past 3 weeks. The extreme brittleness and falling out of my hair is now mostly stopped. I dont know if it raises DHT in some or not, or if it effects hair follicles through some other mechanism, i really dont know, but what i do know is that it does affect my hair in a bad way.

May be ok for most people but not for me unfortunately

so your 17 or 24? which, youve been taking it since 17 did you mean? STOP TAKING IT

  • @arsenalmanic nah man just 17 its says im 24 on youtube because when i first signed up i wasnt able to watch kimbo slice fights lol

ive been taking it since i was 14

    on an off

i think my hairs gone because of the elevated level or fluctuations of testosterone

i put on muscle very quickly partly because of the protien and creatine partly because i train hard

  • what is your opinion on taking amplified creatine vs. a regular monohydrate?

  • when atp is gone in the body doesnt ur body than tap into fat? given u stated it gives more energy (a few extra reps).

doesnt creatine come from eggs too?

    thanks

  • can i take creatine while being on fat loss diet ????

  • @ixy1987 Yes

  • If I take creatine for 2 or 3 months, anda then I stop will I preserve my improvements or will I loose what I gained?

  • @sefmm You will keep your size but you might lose a bit of strength.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV i have an expired jar of Creatine, it expired in march of this year i was wondering if it is till ok to take?? or should i just throw it away, i still have almost 1/2 a 2lb jar left haha so i would like to use it.

  • lol, ADP made me think of anal double penetration!!! And ATP sounds even more painful :S. Sorry for the off topic comment...

  • you forgot to mention that creatine also makes the muscle keep more water in it

  • Hi all...I have bought some creatine whith says it is 99.9% pure but is white "shinny" powder. is it the norm? thx

  • ive never taken creatine before, how long untill i start seeing more bulk in myself? 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4? i want to take creatine monohydrate and 100% whey protein...but my friend said size on is better for a post shake....ideas? thanks

  • @S10slayer Dude, that's funny!

  • @S10slayer

haha thanks for the creatine info :)

  • Fuck!!! I couldn't pay attention to this video because of those tiny shorts

  • @MRIZKFACTOR The shorts aren't small. It's the legs that are big.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV LOL!! I love it!!

  • @BodyPerformanceTV It's all the creatine you're using... You'd make Bruce Banner jealous in those shorts.

  • who wears short shorts

  • @codyhammer23 The shorts are long but the legs are big.

  • DOES CREATINE MAKE U RETAIN WATER WEIGHT?

  • @e334r No.

  • good tips. But change your fucking shorts

  • @horsewang18 Sorry dude. Big Legs. Very few guys have them.

  • jesss, all that ATP an DTP an TTP and stuff, just to say that it gives you a little extra snap and you can do more reps. Why didn't you just say that.

  • Heh ???

  • I weigh 355 lbs and workout three times a week for an hour with a trainer. I plan to start jogging 5 times a week for an hour at a time. I am 37 years old. My plan is to lose about 120 or more pounds within a year. I lift light weights to tone up. Would you suggest me using creatine?

  • @SuperCraigger No, creatine will not help with weight loss. I also suggest you walk instead of jog at least until you've lost some weight. You also need to get an idea of your total daily calorie intake.

  • @SuperCraigger I also host a BlogTalkRadio com show. You can listen there or on iTunes. Search Steve Turano. Recent shows can be heard on my site home page at the bottom once they upload. • I like how you only address the important stuff. Also do you personaly use creatine? I tried it a few times but it makes me dizzy although it helps a lot with endurance... (twice the reps without a sweat ).

I have a hard time drinking creatine as it doesnt mix well with anything at all... What's the better way to consume it?

  • @Jock4Jesus Pills are much easier.

  • i have a question....when is the best time to use creatine...b4 a workout? or after?

  • @j0eL80 It's probably absorbed a bit faster after a workout but since it has to accumulate in your system it really doesn't matter too much when you take it.

  • Hey steve i been takeing A supplement called Amplified Creatine 189 which is a Creatine monohydrate... have u heard any news about it or do u no any better creatines i can or should be takeing?

  • @xXxMrJxXx Take which ever one that doesn't bother your stomach!

  • hey stece im 16 right now and i use to workout in the gym by lifting weight but not no more because they close the gym, so now my workouts are P0x and run 20 laps everyday, and my uncle gave me these creatine pills that i have to take 2 a day but i dnt noe wen to take them

  • you should give your recommedations and explain how much and when to use it dude so ppl wont make mistakes this is not a biochem class

  • Hey Steve I'm 15 and an elite soccer player and have been thinking about taking creatine lately. Is it worth it? Would it make me quicker or would it slow me down with extra water in my Muscles? Is it safe for my age? Thanks in advance

  • @vivalageorge5 Creatine would not slow you down BUT creatine is used as fuel during ANAEROBIC activties not AEROBIC activites therefore it wouldn't help that much with soccer type exercising.

  • thanks this helped

  • @pizzaismyfavoriteful You're welcome! Theres also more great info on my BlogTalkRadio show. Go there search & Steve Turano. The show can also be downloaded from iTunes. The most recent shows can also be heard on my website home page (at the bottom) once they upload. Tell a friend! ~Steve

  • i have heard that its best to take creatine with grape juice. why? also does it matter what type, i prefer white grape juice. the reason why i ask is because of during the loading phase you take it a few times a day.

  • @lilwopaho because of the sugar in the grape juice, it helps the absorption of the creatine by spiking your insulin level up. i always mix some dextrose in with my post workout shake to achieve that.

  • me an my friend done bodybuilding 2yrs ago we started around the same build an weight he took protein shakes an creatine twice aday an i only took 4 raw egg whites an 1 yoke in a pint of milk wen i got home after 6-8 months i was bigger an stronger an we done the same workout

  • good vid

There's a Special Offer for listeners and fans on my 3-29-10 BlogTalkRadio show!

  • @1stbase7 AMEN!!!!

  • im 13 years old i want to know if it is okay for me to take the creatine pills at my age

  • @IREYES7171 Stick with just lifting at this stage in the game. THAT gives everybody the most muscle growth. You don't need supplements now.

  • @IREYES7171 what your 13 yrs old and you want to take creatine , sure dude why dont you do weight lifting too , so you stunt your growth and look like a drawf at 18

  • Oh yeah, another question: I have the GNC Amplified N.O. loaded pre workout powder which has Creatine in it. There's so much frikin caffeine in it, so my trainer told me to use only 1/3 of a scoop (seeing that i'm only 150lbs). Would you say this product gives proper creatine and I should start taking this before a gym workout???

  • I'm NEW to all of this so please no thumbs down or nasty comments, but I have a question: You take the Creatine BEFORE you workout? And if you do, is that so you get a "better" workout? I just want my info straight! Also, if I go to GNC, what is the best Creatine to get??? Any advice or help in a constructive way from anyone would be really appreciated! Thanks! 8)

  • is it better to cycle creatine or is it just as good to stay on the maintenance dosage?? iv herd that after a while of useing creatine that the gains stop comming...that why they cycle.

  • @petevodka cycle it 3 months on 6 months off i was told

  • does creatine make me gain weight because i just gained 6 pounds in a week and ive been eating healthy and doing my cardio right and after i take creatine i workout my muscles for about 2-3 hours ...

  • I'm wondering the same. Any answer to that would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you,

  • @KowsikanK Muscle weight more than fat . Your building muscle and in turn you weight increases.

  • Steve, I like the practical approach you take to fitness. Many professionals spend so much time focusing on minor things that just confuse people. That said, I've been working out for a year now and cycling creatine the last few months. In your opinion, is it necessary to cycle creatine or would one have similar gains by staying on a small dose like 3-5g all the time? Thanks!

  • Thank you! I appreciate that. Yes, staying on a "a maintenance" dosage is what I do!

  • if you take creatine, can you do cardio normally?

  • Sure. Why not?

  • I read an comment on another creatine video sayin that if you took creatine and did cardio...your heart might get bigger..idk if thts true

  • Is creatine bad for abs?

  • so would you recomend creatine use?

  • Once a person has been lifting for a while with intensity.

  • you should also note that it does that but it also hydrates your muscle cells so they perform better when u are working out.

from experience you will have a different work out when working out on creatine then when not on creatine.

this is a really good supplement to take to build muscle fast

you do want to get a good amount of water while taking this to

  • i love u man , u one of few people that know what they are talking about on the internet when they talk about supplements and muscle building

  • Thanks!

  • Still don't trust creatine, hasn't been around long enough for us to know it's long term side effects.

  • does it make ur muscles flabby if u dont take it everyday??

  • Nope!

  • As far as I know, all that creatine does is it retains water so that when you work out more oxygen and red blood cells are able to flow to the muscle which causes them to grow faster. This guy is making up this bullshit just to sound smart. What a joke.

  • @dookysplatter what Steve is saying is correct about creatine. It supplies ATP energy to muscles for explosive contractions ie sprinting weight lifting etc. You are correct about creatine retaining water in the cell and making the muscle more volumized. But it allows you to crank out a extra rep or two and thats what causes the contractile tissue ( muscle fiber) to grow. BUT thier is some talk of the fascia being stretched with creatine allowing more room for growth, but thats not proven really.

  • Oh ok I get it now.

  • learn some chemistry dropout

  • Don't be ignorant douchebag. I'm in my senior year of high school buddy. And I don't study creatine and its effects on the muscles.

  • @dookysplatter being in your last year of highschool is exclusive to having good marks and being knowledgeable

  • Huh? I didnt get this? He said something about a tippee getting converted into a deepee...whats indians got to do with creatine?

  • Who wears short shorts???? Richard Simmons: ''I wear Short Shorts''

  • can drinking creatine add weight or fat on?

  • @KamMedia creatine does not have anabolic properties, it has energy properties. It also has ZERO calories. Since it supplies ATP energy your able to do a rep or two MORE than usual and that causes more muscle damage, thus a little more growth during repair.

  • I don't know what to think of Scooby. He's knows quite a bit. Seems like a decent guy, but he's a little odd. Does he do power or speed movements? He doesn't look like he does. He needs some neck training in my opinion. He looks more like he's geared for SHOW,...and not for GO. But to each his own I guess.

  • nice camel toe. lol. joking. great advice!

  • @clydecotton guys dont have camel toes... they have camel tails

  • This next guy victor kosta so called guru is even worse with the slow lifting thing, this guy is repping out 25 pounds and saying its all you need to grow. For one thing it looks funny in the gym, and i dont think you can build a 18 inch arm lifting 25 pound dumbells, nor should anyone want to.

  • And he lifts really light weights that sometimes in the demonstrations i wish he used his working weight. And thiers no explosive power at all in his lifts, and thats really crucial to making alot of gains, and i question if he lifted hard and explosive when he started to build his body cuze it is impressive, then started the slow thing after misleading people thats how muscles grow cuze they look at him and go, hey hes doing it that way. But still better than tony horton.

  • @chuckcanavi That is an interesting thought, but Scooby posts lots of information Steve Turano doe
