just order some spores.

take a day and go get some shit.

go to walmart,lowes, and the home depo.

get like $100.thats more then enough for everything.and it'll last you awhile.a giant bag of vermiculite was only like $20.and it was huge.i had to get something smaller.

i got everything in one day.me and my siser ordered the spores, then spent a few hours shopping.

get alot of disinfectant shit.pressure cookers arent neccessary either.

No, Psilocybe semilancea is not as easy to cultivate as Psilocybe cubensis.

I wanted to go mushroom hunting this year but I think it's a bit too late now. Do Psilocybe Cubensis grow on and around any kind of cow/horse manure or only grain fed cattle? My reason for asking is because the cattle near my house only eat grass. I have the season narrowed down, all I need now is to find the right field.

I live near on the East coast, South Carolina. I hear this area is perfect for them if you know what type of pasture to look in during their fruiting season. I think mycelium (spelling?) grows best in warmer seasons and the mushrooms themselves sprout up during slightly colder, and damp conditions. (could be the other way around, need to look into it)

But yeah, I've heard you can find them ANYWHERE in this region which is why I'm so curious.

horse and cow pastures are great to look for the Cubensis in summer , when the humidity is high and its hot outside especially after a nice rainfall at night or throughout the day, and the next morning hit up the pastures where their are cows and or horses , you wont miss them , just make sure they bruise bluish purplish at the stock , and have a golden brownish cap, also look to see if the veil is broken , as their wil be a little ring around the stock just below where it meets the cap

hunting is way too dangerous because mushrooms look pretty much alike, and you will never be sure if those are the right ones.

better grow them yourself.

@paniq303 but if you pinch the stalk of the mushrooms, the correct ones will turn BLUE....... the ones that dont turn blue are the ones that you do not want and may kill you.....

so only eat the ones that turn blue if you do go hunting

Bruising alone doesn't designate a psilocybin containing mushrooms. Some poisonous mushrooms are blueing also. And some psikocybin mushrooms don't or hardly blue.

The "blue buising" is merely a sign that psilocin, not psilocybin. And although it is a telling sign, there are many "psilocybin/psilocin" containg mushrooms not all are suitable to ingest. It would blow your mind to know how many differant kinds like this there are.

Actually, grassfed is even better, the reason shrooms are found in cow pastures has to do with cow's four stomachs, which don't use stomach acid, therefore any spores that are consumed along with grass get pooped out into perfect growing conditions
