Even though I live in Kentucky, I love Billy Donovan and the Florida Gators - especially this team. Humphries, Noah, Horford, Brewer and Greene - so very unselfish and their friendships together, both on and off the court, really showed through. They always seemed to know where each of them was on the court and they didn't care about who got the most points - as long as they won. A true team effort and an unforgettable team.

@justinbodrero Lol. During my time at Florida, we could not have sucked any worse in basketball. What this team did was amazing in its own merit but what it did for the school cannot be put into words. What they did was as shocking as Kentucky winning a NC in football. Never thought I'd see it in my lifetime.

What I meant to say is that is that, 10 years ago, UK winning a title in football would have been as shocking as the Gators winning one in basketball. Before it happened, I never thought that UF would ever win a tittle in BB. I was in disbelief when it happened.

I think Florida will be back this coming season because I doubt Billy D will let them continue to fail to make the NCAAs. Florida and Billy D are too good of a program and a coach, respectively, to stay "down" compared to UF's 1999-2007 teams.

I remember all the trash UCLA fans were talking before that game and how one said that he already got the UCLA 2006 National Champions shirt. Funny maybe the Buckeye fans should have used that as a reason not to count Championships before there won.
