  • Best drummer of our time. SO f'n underrated.

  • @robsmale an underated band all together

  • I love how Jack White exposes fans to rare bands from the past like The Flamin' Groovies and The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band.

  • friggin awesome!

  • Funny french name, the "raconteurs" = storyteller i think. nice rythm btw.

  • @hankfeatule it is also english.

  • @hankfeatule It's also an English word.

  • Drummer is fucking amazing !

  • @bobyoung53 this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better

  • Man, what the fuck is wrong with the crowd?

I'd be head-banging the shit out of my skull.

  • 2:02 - Most epic solo break ever...Sends chills down my spine every god damn time !

  • holy shit

  • jesus christ!!!!!!!! great cover!

  • °___° my mind was blown away...

  • Hey, I live in El Paso. They should really come here. Or Jack should with The Dead Weather

  • You know I REALLY REALLY love like am OBSESSED with Jack White and all my comments are about him pretty much, but I must admit that L.J is a pretty rockin' bassist! (The others are bad-ass too! It's just L.J always seems put to the side even though they're both totally bad-ass) Still I loves you L.J with you're nerdy hair and glasses that I WANTS! 8D

  • it must be the first time the Groovies got any royalties for one of them killer tunes.... thanks to Jack White even if I still prefer the Flaming(o) version

  • i prefer the Flamin' Groovies original version

  • awesome

  • Patrick Keeler is the best damn drummer in the world.

apart from Keith Moon that is

  • Jack White makes my skin crawl, but that fucking rocked.

  • I have looked on Amazon & this performance(on DVD) is not avaliable. Does anybody know of where else I could look? I a huge Raconteurs fan, & would love to have a legit copy of their performance on austin city limits.

  • @TheRacboys

you can download it illegaly dude dont be shy just do it

  • @algrand90 tss tss

    Illegal downloading is bad :(

Encourage them, buy the DVD 10 times!!

  • version of this song live at leeds is the best!! unbelievable!

  • the bit where the band stops and jack is still soloing makes me cum my pants!

  • i love the double solo they do SO MUCH

  • I hate to be that guy who criticizes everything, but at 1:39 the audience is just standing there. This is a badass band doing more than justice with the Groovies, and you're just standing there?!?! FRICKIN' ROBOTS!!!

  • @ kinetic82, I'm hoping they were all awestruck by the talent.

  • does anyone know where to get any good live performances of them on dvd? i swear i've been jamming their live videos off youtube through my phone and into the car for weeks months now...even more than the actual albums.

  • i love how there isnt a single fuckin bad comment on this video!

  • i like brendan`s guild more than his telecaster, its more interesting sounding and looking.

  • I wish they would put this on DVD.

  • This is a pbs performance of them.. .they do have it on DVD.. you'll get cat power too... I had it saved on a DVR... but it got erased.. :(

  • in a perfect world, if you look up rock and roll in the dictionary, you would see this video.

  • The Flamin' Groovies would be proud of them !

  • it should be "Border," friend-o

  • Patrick Keeler is freaking unhuman.

  • @BloodPlzKThnxLol INhuman, but you are right, he's completely insane.

  • great cover!

  • the vocal sounds exactly the same as the white stripes - outlaw blues [bob dylan cover]

  • That's probably because, that's the guy from the White Stripes?

    Awesome perfomance.

  • straight up E A B blues!

  • This song is E G A!

  • the most musically gifted band from my generation.

  • tabs?

  • that solo shoots me dead every time . unreal

  • Can someone please message me an mp3 of this song, please i beg you

  • i just love jack whites tone in this song especially when it just start, so badass

  • the audience doesn´t move a FINGER!! till the song is over!!!! I DONT UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's a dumbstruck audience.

We'll leave it at that. (:

  • Great that someone dragged this old nugget out of the closet but I agree that the Groovies original is better. The guitars here don't have that bright reverby twang that made the original sound so cool.

  • never heard of Raconteurs till now. thumbs up to them for covering such a great song

  • Nope, wrong hair colour.

  • i dig the cover, but the Flaming Groovies pull off the ending so much better... Of course, They wrote the song. Raconteurs still rule for covering the Flaming Groovies though. Long Live Rock!!!

  • Duel soloing by both Jack and Brendan, so intense

  • no lyrics on google

  • yes the same notes.... but the soud of white stripes is complete diferent than this!

  • This band never ceases to amaze me.

  • Amazing drum fill at 3:41.

  • Best Rock n' Roll band around.

  • on 3:03 this becomes...just fucking spectacular. there. thats a word i dont use very often.

  • the finest musicians alive.this fucking kills!!

  • the raconteurs are on fire....jack white is blazing!!!

  • You can see the state capitol.

  • UNBELIEVABLE

  • I love PK too!

  • Jack White kicks ass, my favorite musician outside of The Beatles

  • SAME FOR ME!

  • @WorkingKlassHero, agreed

  • Is this their song? or a cover?

  • It's a cover,originally by The Flaming Groovies...

  • Yeah , I was an idiot and asked before even trying to search for it lol but I found it , and thanxx bye the way.

  • No problem.

  • what a band

  • legend of a song,i like the solo jack plays!!!!!!!!

  • Austin City Limits TV show on PBS circa 2006...amazing

  • great video

    thanks for putting it up

  • When was this performance?

  • When they toured for broken boy soldiers (look at the drums). And besides, Jack doesn't have those killer side burns here so it can't be their current tour.
