I believe it's 50,000 per fight and 100,000 if you win. It's a lot of money, but when you only have a fighter every few months it's not a very good paying career. But I hope that the fighters will get payed more and more as the sport gets popular.
400,000 isn't very much money for being a world class athlete. They dedicate their entire life to training to make a living.... While athletes like Michael Phelps, get millions just for winning a race that doesn't even last 1 round in MMA. Trust me dude, they should be making a lot... lot more : /

Fighters don't get 50,000$ for a win. that's wrong. the more your record is high the more you get paid. for example. fight #1: you get 5,000-7,000$. 2nd fight: 7,000-10,000$. (it stays like that for a couple of fights. something like 3-4.) (characters limited, check the next cmnt)

Lidell, Rashad, first of all got a good shot, yes, BUT Lidell's chin was dead BEFORE that fight and knocking chuck out is nothing big anymore, did u see the punch that put him down in the franklin fight?? so that one isn't anything impressive, a strong wind could knock chuck out nowa days. Shoguns ko over machida was good, but personally i found rashad being ko'd a lot more entertaining.

Rashad wasn't confidence of his own skills. Thats why he lost His moves are too limited and his punches arent hard and straight. Doesnt deliver much power. Jackson's going to kill him and Lyoto and Shogun. Talk about the best shogun? He's a ssj 3 shogun. How about the best rampage? Now ssj 4 rampage is on a completely different level. @bruceliem Yeah, and being an MMA fighter isn't cheap. You have to pay for your coaches *which every fighter has several for ever aspect*, equipment, not to mention normal living expenses. I believe it's 50,000 per fight and 100,000 if you win. It's a lot of money, but when you only have a fighter every few months it's not a very good paying career. But I hope that the fighters will get payed more and more as the sport gets popular.

Fighters don't get 50,000$ for a win. that's wrong. the more your record is high the more you get paid. for example. fight #1: you get 5,000-7,000$. 2nd fight: 7,000-10,000$. (it stays like that for a couple of fights. something like 3-4.) (characters limited, check the next cmnt)

Rashad was earned 400,000$ for the fight. not including sponsor and stuff, which i believe he reaches 550,000$. (The reason rampage is more, because he was promoting his movie "The A-Team" so he had more things to show up with) and it goes on and on
