I was playing this track in my bedroom last night and my dad knocked on my bedroom door. Normally when he knocks on my door he asks me to turn the music down. To my surprise instead of asking me turn the music down he asked me what was playing. I answered him and he said it was a "very beautiful piece of music". I agreed
A lot of Ambient music can be a bit bland and directionless and it doesn`t engage the listener. But this track is is very engaging. The way it slowly builds, the beautiful synths. And the best thing about this track is the spoken vocal. The voice works perfectly with the music and what he`s actually saying is very intelligent. He`s not just saying some random nonsense. He`s actually talking about life, seasons etc and it makes the listener think, imagine. Thanks for posting
This is another one of those "I used to love listening to this when I was twatted" albums from back in the day. Bought the CD as well coz I couldn't be arsed to get up and flip the vinyl!!.........Biosphere's 'Microgravity' was also a fave.
When you have the whole track in the 'timeline', click it to highlight it. Put the cursor at the very start of the track, click the edge and drag to the right. That way you shorten the track to the desired length / starting point. Then click and drag the edited track back to the beginning of the 'timeline'. Hey presto!!
Actually use Mac but I assume its a similar process... thanks for the help, will give that a bash tonight when I'm home from work... Oh how I wish I could win the lotto or something :)
Magic!!

I take it you use Windows Movie Maker.
