I don't get why she had to be all girly at the end of the movie. A chararistic we all liked about Vada was that she was herself, and didn't care what other people thought. She was a tomboy with Thomas J, then started hanging out with that girl and all of a sudden she was wearing dresses and crap. She was a leader, and that makes it seem likes shes a follower . That's the only part of the movie I didn't agree with.

i loved this movie!! it is a total chick flick tho cuz i went and saw it with my boyfriend back when it first came out, and he hated it, and so has every other guy ive know to see it. i guess you have to be a girl/women to appreciate it !!!

I do love this scene... I even memorized the poem... It made me cry... I kept on reading it from the pocket book the time I didn't yet find the movie.... but I hate the movie when I saw it... because I've been looking for it for a year then some of the nice scenes were not shown.... its good that I saw some of it here in you tube.... thanks for sharing....
