I think God put these animals here for us. But I DONT think that he put them here for us to kill and torture! Its just wrong the way they do things and I refuse to eat meat if I know this is what is happening to the animals! So heck with all the non-vegetarians and ur excuses!

They are not the food of nature, they were not born packaged and labeled, they were born just the same as you and me. They are not lesser species just because they cannot speak our languages. We as a human race have passed the need to murder animals to survive. We are now able to produce enough food through agriculture. LOVE

I really think vegetarianism is the way to go against animal cruelty. What I found interesting was Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, in his video, The Joy of Liberating Animals on Youtube, advised his students to turn vegetarian to create the causes to build an animal sanctuary or shelter. This is to show their commitment to care for animals instead of just saying they care. We dont really care for animals if we keep eating them every meal!

PETA is obviously a mindless "Organization" that should actually devolve and get their survival instincts back. With the whole recent fly issue with the president, it is clear that PETA cares more for a disease ridden pest that can carry potentially fatal viruses than for human survival. These people are shunning the very instincts that allowed our race to survive for so long. Sure, animals need better treatment sometimes, but they are not humans, so they don't need to be treated as such.

I'm an atheist, so I don't believe in souls, but I can tell you that plants, unlike animals, don't have a nervous system. But that's not the key point here either. Plants don't have a brain to process the sensations. Any being that has no brain, such as all plants and bivalves, cannot "feel" anything.

Any creature willing to protect its own life deserves respect - and that goes right down to the VIRUS, regardless of brain or otherwise. S'just my take on it.

Anyway, the video was totally disgusting, but I take PETA stuff with a pinch of salt to be honest.
