That explains it! I keep it in a padded case and i've never dropped it on hard ground and theres a big crack down the hinge and i've never even dropped it there so it makes sence now.

white if you dont want scatches or finger prints cause you cant see them.i got crimson and it gets alot of finger prints. hope that helps.

black you get finger prints,but you can whipe those off,but for white if you scratch it and dirt gets in the scratch you're screwed,,,i owould go with either :onyx,crimson/onyx,blue/onyx ( and pink if you're a girl :P ) if you want
