  • look at the dog at 4:35

    he's like WTF!!!

  • nice shoes

  • I wonder how much pressure we put on our knees when we do precision jumps. Do you think a lounge would be more or less pressure?

  • btw, for shooting an arrow, 30° and 60° give the most distance

  • How do I precision jump onto rails? when I do my jump, I land but my feet either slip in front of me or I faceplant the ground. Please help!!!

  • @UrbanCurrent I live in New York City, do you know a place I could practice ( besides Central park) and get an actual teacher, Your vids have helped alot, I learned the wall up thanks to you.

  • "...your main and only priority in life should be to keep your eyes on your landing spot..." I don't know why but I laughed.

  • Hey, I'm fairly new and have been training for a while now. I'm not that good but I'll post a video up soon. Would you review it?

  • 4:31 awesome dog! :D

  • kak ska4a tolkova mnogo???

  • @TheLo6iq trenirovki moje bi...

  • lol, now us white people can learn how to jump

    thank you black person!

  • 4:31 - 4:34 You did jump forward like totally forward, no offense.

  • Should I practice on a trampoline

  • 8 people don't even know what PARKOUR is

  • 8 people don't know what PARKOUR is.

  • hello , thanks for the lesson, what are the shoes you used at the beginning of the video ?

  • @daboulkioutaw k swiss ariake they got :)

  • good lesson

  • cool dog, haha

  • i have 3 words for your video:

    aw,so,me! Love it thnx

  • @musicwithapoint I'd recommend K-Swiss Ariake Shoes for Parkour. They have really good grip, and are usefull for other tricks too, like the Wall-Run. You can buy them for about $100,- . I hope this tip helped you.

  • Will you be offended if I say that 5:18 is showing a hot ass? :$

  • Wahahahaha, 4:36, that dog xD First i was like: nooo, he has to be kidding me?! :O Don't land on the dog!

Dunno why I thought that, I just... did xD

    Still lmao about it xD

  • great technique i stayed stable my first try thanks a million

  • Your vids are very helpful. I followed all the steps and i have been practicing and know i can jump a distance of about 2.15 meters.

But is still know i can get even farther and my question is: I saw in you vid that at some point you pulled your arms back and then to the front, was that for balance or for more distance?

  • i need to learn how to go jump wall to wall (cat leap then jump to a wall above and/or behinde me)

    sorry 4 bad grammar

  • @realderekbrothers What you're talking about is called "Cat to Cat". Search the tutorial on youtube. I thinks its very easy though. While in cat position move towards the wall fast, then quickly push away with your hands and feet while turning to cat leap towards the wall behind you.(I did this in some bathroom stalls it's easy. Plus I never looked at any tutorials but you should).

  • @SI0AX lol i already herd 3 names xD and i already know how but thanks aniways :)

  • @SI0AX whats your problem not many people are "talented" as you dumbass

  • @xXchipmunkXx367 What do you mean? What'd I do? lol. What do you mean as in "talented" lol you mean like crazy or something?

  • @xXchipmunkXx367 Oh wait you mean when I said that I never looked at any tutorials but you should right? Guess it does sound like an asshole comment now that I see it... Dx Bad word placement on my part. I meant to say that its easy to do without instructions. Unlike the precision jumps that are just impossible to do without good instructions. Even with many tutorials I've seen(like 20) I just can't land a rail to rail precision :(

  • @SI0AX yeah its cool though atleast your not like other people that bitch at people that just cant do it very good, not saying you cant do it good but look 8 dislikes

  • thanks on the tutorial , now i can correct my precission jump :)

  • i jumped from one ledge to another, but when i landed my feet slipped from under and i scraped myself all over and hit my head. can you help please? i was also a little scared that i was either gonna over jump or under jump

  • A tip to any learners out there: Bend your legs a little ( a tiny, tiny bit ) just before you land. I say this because a friend of mine was double jointed (his knees bend slightly beyond straight), and when he landed, he had both his legs completely straight. He hyper-extended both of his knees and shattered his caps. 5 years of careful nursing before his ligaments were completely healed.

  • thank you

  • i tryed this jump and messed up my ankles and i was out of the game for 2 and a half weeks

  • my gosh if i perfect this i will astound my physed teacher with my long jump

  • nice nice

  • 4:44 your dog is like: what a hell is he doing???

  • @altairdamasco hehe ^_^

  • Nice tut...This really helped me keep up the good work

  • awesome tutorial, can your dog do parkour :P

  • Great,everything explained to the last detail.You're awesome,guys.

  • where did you learn to do all of this

  • Awesome

  • what shoes are they?

i need a decent pair for this and skate shoes don't cut it

    any help?

  • My only problem is the fear of jumping from one place to another one with a little gap between, Im scared of either losing the grip on my shoes, and slide frontwise and land on my tailbone or landing with my lowerleg on the edge x)

  • I think landing in an angle lower then 90 degrees is for making the momentum stop (at least I heard so).

  • Thank u, now i know why i fails :D

  • thank you

  • did you not wear underwear on purpose for that slow-mo ending...?

    =p

  • Awesome tutorial ozzi and nice ending :)

  • Best vid out there about precision jumping :) 5*

  • nice vid :)

  • Thanks man ; )

  • Great but like the other guy said make sure that your legs don't crunch down the best method i know is what my instructor told us "make sure that you keep your knees at a 90 degree angle" awesome vid 5 stars

  • This is a really good and helpful video but you shouldn't bend your knees that much because it's bad for them and it propels most of your motion into the ground. Thank you for the video though because it does help a lot that you explain everything!

  • he is a pro,so he know what he do

  • i did a precision and did everythin u said exept i landed on the wrong balls....

  • lol

  • @purbit1 lmao!

  • @purbit1 Just reading that makes my balls hurt

  • scars on my right leg braked bones in my left leg

  • 4:35 - 4:40 dogs like, "wth this guy doing?" lol. seriously though awsome tutorial vid 5 stars!

  • aw no commentary :'(

    oh well 5/5 AWSOME

  • Excellent tutorial.

  • anyone who rated this under 5 stars, go shoot yourself ! it don't get any better than this ! thank you guys !

  • YOU ARE SO COREEECT

this is like totally more than awesome i could just give it 10 stars

  • @IcarusFlying time have change within a year my friend

  • damn awsome tutorial

  • the hard part isnt learning it its remembering this tutorial ;D

  • Mahalo Ozzi. Needed that. Sweet Vid, your grammar is perfect too. :P Good job

imo Training precisions barefoot and with shoes can help anyone understand purposes behind landing on the balls of your feet or on another part.

  • Good point brah, so what island you at?

  • @UrbanCurrent is 7ft far with a small run up ? and about 5ft and a half to 6ft without ok cosidering ive just started and am 14 and not well built (skinny) but tall

just wanted to see how i compare

  • very good tutorial, i'd say the best :)

  • if u wanna land on a rail u also land on the balls of your feet? or in the middle of your feet

  • The technique does change regardless of the obstacle, it is just the difficulty that changes. So yeah, on the ball of your feet.

  • @metalpk93 for a second there i thought you said land on your feet or your balls... lol

  • @pokenerd99 LOL if i did i wouldnt be writing a comment here i'd probably be in grave :p

  • @metalpk93 Landing on a rail seems easier with the middle of your foot, but think about this: if you land on the ball of your foot, it allows you to stay on the rail while landing on the middle won't. Because it's also a weaker part of the foot, you risk inuries as well.

  • I've noticed that you almost always land on the edge of the object with the balls of your feet. Is it bad that I land on the middle of my feet touching the edge of the object? If you don't understand this I'll make a video. xD

  • Balls all the way

  • To Jabba: It is always good to land on the balls... landing in the middle of the foot causes a much higher chance of sliding off the object as well as loss of balance. Landing as light as you can is usually the key, in my opinion

  • Also, impact on the middle of the foot for long jumps can cause arch problems.

  • especially if flat footed?

  • Well if you take any significant impact on your arch you'll sustain damage. I don't know how much that would affect it.

  • thnks i think it will help me a lot keep doing videos

  • What made you think of throwing a rock in a garbage can. You would think shooting a basketball would be a more obvious chioce. It doesn't matter I was just wondering how you thought of it. Best precision tutorial I have seen.

  • I've got a question that's been bothering me for a while... Does being bowlegged and flat footed change the way that one has to land? Since flat footed people have loose ankles and a harder time balancing, does this make precisions harder? Thanks for an answer if I do get one

  • I (the guys on this video) am flat footed.

  • Oh, really? I never knew! Thanks for the answer. It seems like you've got good form for all your moves, though. Do you know exactly how flat footed you are?

  • @UrbanCurrent me too

  • nice tut

    thanks

  • You know, I've thought about how to increase my precision jump before, and you know what? I thought up every one of these tips in this video on my own. It really is all common sense, but it's great and helps loads. :)

    Thanks for the tutorial. :)

  • Nice tutorial.

  • well, i think you're sitting down too much at landing(its injuring your knees). anyway-nice tutorial

  • It's not a regular landing, you know.

He sits down that much just to obtain and maintain balance.

  • Plus I am also wearing baggy pants. Looks as if I am touching my calf with my hamstring, but I am not.

  • very good video, but you forgot an important fact, if your ass touches your heels, you are not strong enough to take this jump, better train in 70-80% of your maximum distance to reduce impact on your knees

  • its really cool how you can explain such a simple movement in great detail! i'm gonna go try it out now =]

  • Very well done video. Those slow-mo shots are so nice. I learned a lot!

  • very nice vid!!

now i learnt something important about precision jumps! :)

and now i'm training harder to get better :)

    5 stars!! :)

  • great toturial.

  • no you

  • NO ONE WANTS TO BE FIRST! :P
