  • Reapers must have hacked the dislike bar :I

  • Mass effect: Enemies everywhere! or Hold the Line! Mass effect 2: The priiicceee!

  • That song is "Infiltration" on the album "combat"

  • Im part of `like`.. the Dislike are attacking like hell! brothers of `like` HOLD THE LINE!!!

  • why in the fuck are there so many dislikes? they fail

  • thank goodness i ve been looking for this like forever its one of my favorite in me2 so thank u

  • Why in the world is the rating for this video so low!? Something major is wrong with you all.

  • Dislikes? This is my favoured song from the game! What a shame, people these days...

  • @gekko434

I was probably attacked by dislike bot or something.

  • What's with all the dislikes? Did somebody give the link to a Justin Bieber fansite or something?

  • Saren and Sovereign dislike this fantastic song...

  • Why does this music give me a boner when ever I hear it in a mission?

  • haestrom

  • I yelled Hold the Line as I was listening to this Song. I dont care what you people think, it felt good to say it!

  • @MrSpiritjackal If it makes you feel better, I was so pumped up by that moment of the game, that when the Harbinger was taking control of one of the drones I put a bullet in his head with the sniper, killing him, resulting in him saying "ASSUMING CONTR-" and me looking at the screen and saying "...out of my way." Awkward, maybe, but it felt awesome.

  • Hold the line!

  • love isn't always on time!

  • just imagine if Hanns zimmer and jack wall got to gether to make ME3 sountrack. I think it would be epic

  • this isn't on the soundtrack? Unbelievable, this is one of my favourites

  • I'm Commander Shepard, and why are there words floating above my head?

  • Funny that this track is called "hold the line", when the part of the game it plays involves you having to keep moving to keep your tech specialist protected and make sure you're ready to unlock the door on the second fire team.

  • @TheOriginalRyuujin Well, "Hold The Line" isn't the official title. On "Mass Effect 2: Combat," it's entitled "Infiltration."

What *is* funny is that there's another fan-made compilation of this theme called "Three-Headed Snake," which fits even better than "Infiltration."

  • I've been looking for this! Got me really pumped while playing the game!

  • I remember collectors were holding me back for too long, and Tali was frying alive, so I put up my armor, and ran through bullets just to hit the button. It was so epic.

  • @kc1920ks8802 OUTSTANDING

  • Firing a high impact shot!!

  • @theunraveler hacking your target...

  • Guys, stop arguing about Clint and Wall... just be thankful Eminem is nowhere near Mass Effect 3.

  • @ash356 "Look, if you had one shot, one opportunity, to take out all the Reapers.... would you take it, or just let it slip?"

  • =/ looked up Clint Mansell, Requiem for a dream is overrated

  • @Bacon1086 So is your mom.

  • Clint Mansell is an amazing composer, Jack Wall was great, and if there be anyone I want replacing him, it's Clint Mansell or Daft Punk. Seriously, give the Tron Legacy ost a listen.

  • @grimmviral I did, it's rather simple and monotonous. And I used to LIKE Daft Punk.

It's just that there's so much emotion, feeling, and (positively ment) drama in Mass Effect, that this kind of industrial electronic music just doesn't work here. MassEff NEEDS a full orchestral score, with heroic suites, calm themes, battlehymns, and catchy fucking elevator music, just for shits and giggles.

  • Thanks a lot for putting this file on here. Was totally ticked that this wasn't put on ANY of the soundtracks.

  • Jack Wall and Clint Mansell should work together on ME3 OST - that'd be awesome, since Wall already is into the game and made two great soundtracks. Getting rid of him is like retiring a skilled veteran.

  • A shame most of the SM was easier than fighting random mercs, felt like a damp squib of a finale.

  • @darthbandon10 For you.

  • @ubrs1138 What did you think of it? and the Human-Reaper, for that matter?

  • @darthbandon10 Wasn't the hardest thing(even on insanity). However, I found mercs to be cake in comparison to any of the levels involving Collectors. I found the Collector ship and the last part part of the derelict Reaper with the infinite husks to be the most difficult parts of ME 2 when playing on insanity.

  • @ubrs1138 I think the Scions are the toughest enemies, mainly because their Shockwave style attack ignores cover and they're tough to kill without a sniper rifle handy.

Maybe I'll try Insanity once I've done this playthrough with my female Adept character.

  • @darthbandon10

I don't know its name but the thing floats in the air is the toughest. It was at the human colony shepard manages to save some of humans and on the reaper signals false distress signals for trapping. That thng definitely does not die.

For me the second worse enemy are the husks , they are completely loose and their voices are terrifying..

  • @vakasim Praetorian? You only encounter it at Horizon and on the Collector ship (not the Reaper or the base).

  • @darthbandon10

It was on the ship taht the ilusive man sent shepard knowing that it is a trap (the one said to be crippld by turians ) .

I don't know its name though.

  • @vakasim Thats the Praetorian.

  • @darthbandon10

    Toughest, agree ?

  • @vakasim In terms of having a huge health bar yes, but they're not the hardest to fight. Although on the collector ship it does have husks attacking alongside it.

  • @darthbandon10

Yeah , it also keep coming and when it sits on nearby you , you lost cover and health.

  • @ubrs1138 yeah i thought me2 wasn't as hard as most people made it out to be on insanity but the infinite husks were insane since powers didnt work on them and they could kill you with a handful of shots

  • Thumbs up if you survived the Suicide Mission!

  • @7metalsnake Just 4? I had more men in my team, thump up Garrus!!

  • @symonglorian Hecs yeah for Garrus!

  • @symonglorian 0:13 - Scratch one!

    0:29 - I love this rifle.

This theme -always- reminds me of Garrus for some reason.

1:06 - One less to worry about!

  • for goten?

    FOR GOTEN!!!

  • LOOOVE THIS ONE!!!

They screwed up big time not putting this in the OST, just like the other one during the Seeker Swarm area.

  • Shepard. How can I help?

  • @Starscream3352 I should go,now.

  • @GreatRogno

Will be here if you need me.

  • "Before the network, there was the fleet. Before diplomacy, there were soldiers!

Our influence stopped the rachni, but before that we held the line!

Our influence stopped the krogan, but before that, we held the line!

Our influence will stop Saren; in the battle today, we will hold the line!”

  • I just want ME3 F***YEAH!

  • DOWN WITH MANSELL

  • Does anyone know where to get the songs played in Shepards sound system in his room on Normandy? The only ones i've never seen uploaded

  • @Cyberpunk747 The songs that play in the Captain's Quarters on the Normandy SR2 come from the first Mass Effect. Search for mass effect 1 music instead.

  • I like to let Miranda handle the first run, Garrus with me, then let Garrus lead the 2nd run. It gives everyone a breather, and gives the 2 leaders a chance to shine.

  • @pokemanz

    How 'bout Jacob?

  • @JoshuatheKodiak Well, he works too. Just never saw him as a squad leader, ya know?

  • Dam on insanity* there were too many Collecters, had no Medi-Gel, my 2 team-mates were out, Tali was burning up in the Tube's, But DAM this song kept me going and going i felt like a HERO! and eventually blew up the Base... goodtimes

  • read it bottom to top youll get it if youve played number 1

  • These giants do not seem to give us solace here, but they are not all that we are.

Before the network, there was the fleet. Before diplomacy, there were soldiers!

Our influence stopped the rachni, but before that we held the line!

Our influence stopped the krogan, but before that, we held the line!

Our influence will stop Saren; in the battle today, we will hold the line!”

  • “You all know the mission, and what is at stake.

I have come to trust each of you with my life -- but I have also heard murmurs of discontent. I share your concerns.

We are trained for espionage; we would be legends, but the records are sealed. Glory in battle is not our way.

Think of our heroes; the Silent Step, who defeated a nation with a single shot. Or the Ever Alert, who kept armies at bay with hidden facts.

  • "Heretic platforms will try to stop us. We must hold this room." - Legion

  • @metallicust legion rocked the shit out of mass effetc 2 bro right on

  • GO!, GO, GO!

    HOLD THE LINE!

    ENEMIES EVERYWHERE!

    I WILL DESTROY YOU!

  • cmon guys. Clint! The guy who made requiem of a dream! Why are you all worried?

  • I have a geth calculator.

  • This is always on missions with geth INIT

  • @TheFredturner yeah with the dying sun

  • Huh...'pretty sure at least part of this is used in Tali's track...Not as sure, but it may also appear elsewhere in other combat tracks as well. If that were the case, maybe why it was not included on the main sountrack as its own separate track was because it was already mixed into a couple other parts of the game..

Check Tali's and see what you think?

  • Comment removed

  • Cool. Is there a song called "ENEMIES EVERYWHERE"?

  • *Collector Base*

Sheperd: ''Hold the Line, men! We shan't let the enemy through! Tonight, WE DIE STANDING!''

    *Odd silence from The Crew*

Mordin: ''Commander Sheperd, I think you have the wrong game.''

*Sheperd pulls out his pistol and blasts Mordin's head off.*

Sheperd: ''Cowards have no place here!''

  • @SinerAthin xD mordin is a retard

  • Jack "Uber" Wall > Clint "Boring" Mansell

  • thumbs up if you want Jack Wall for ME3 instead of Clint Mansell

  • @MrTienel You are only kidding yourself if you think Jack Wall is better than Clint Mansell. But thank you for the good laugh.

  • @CyberOptiK

Clint Mansell is probably a better composer than Jack Wall, and he will no doubt do a great job on the ME3 soundtrack. I just hope he will be able to capture that special Mass Effect sound Jack Wall has defined over the course of the previous games.

  • @AenigmaTDS

I have no doubt that Mansell will still keep that feeling alive in ME3.

  • @MrTienel

Both of them are really good. But I prefer Clint. Have you heard the Requiem For A Dream or The Fountain themes? Yeah, Jack Wall is really good. But Clint Mansel is better in my opinion

  • @york222ful requiem for a dream sucks.

  • @MrTienel hell yes! if it aint broke dont change it D:

  • @MrTienel

No man. Clint Mansell is AMAZING!! You have heard requiem for a dream havent you? Also check out The Fountain soundtrack. Incredible!

  • @MrTienel Clint Mansell actually is a very talented composer he's done very good work in films.

  • @MrTienel

are you serious? have you heard of anything from clint mansell?

  • @MrTienel While Jack Wall is undoubtedly a great compositor, Clint Mansell is top tier. Don't judge someone without listening first his works.

  • @MrTienel Ditto...

I have nothing against Clint Mansell, or his work; I simply don't like the fact that the lead composer of the soundtracks for the first two games isn't reprising his role for the third and final game in Commander Shepard's saga.

Even if Clint Mansell's work on the ME3 soundtrack is indistinguishable from Jack Wall's work...it just doesn't feel right.

For the record, all tracks that are first heard in Tali's missions (including this one) were composed by Jimmy Hinson.

  • This plays at the boss at horizon =P

  • *"Acknowledged"*

  • Tell them I Held the Line...

  • This song is in the official soundtrack! It's the second part of "Rescue Tali". I love it. Best piece of music in the soundtrack.

  • @onstar102 Maybe the in-game soundtrack, but not the actual soundtrack that was released for download.

  • this should be in the endgame of ME3

  • Today, against the Harbringer WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!

  • Hey what's the name of the song they play when you fight that huge white robot for the first time. Ya know the one with rockets and some sort of pulse machine gun on the other arm?

  • @pacifisto0o0o

I believe the battle music is incorporated into "Freedom's Progress."

  • @JaminKoehn Thanks sooooo much man! That and the Galaxy Map soundtrack are the only two songs I like in this game! XD

  • @pacifisto0o0o Yep. The Galaxy Map tracks, "New Worlds" on the ME 2 Soundtrack, and "Uncharted Worlds" on the ME 1 Sountrack, are Sam Hulick's work. He did the music for Bring Down the Sky, also. You should check out his channel. His username is MDesigner.

  • We will do what we do best.

    We will kill, standing.

  • is it just me, or do all the ME combat soundtracks have an "Unreal Tournament" vibe to them?

  • i love legion hes so badass

  • This track is frakkin' sweet! I just can't get it out of my head! IMO Best (first) part of the Suicide Mission is during this track.

  • HERE THEY COME!!!!! FALL BACK >XO

  • I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite song on the "forgotten" soundtrack.

  • @rbh1138 Agreed.

  • best song in the entire game

  • it was so great how the situations called for team members that seemed like it was their perfect job, any other game would've made it feel artificial, but ME made it feel like fate.

Infiltration/tech: "holy shit kasumi, you were worth the 7$"

Diversionary team:"Garrus didn't you keep like every merc on an entire planet distracted with one sniper rifle and a bridge?"

Hold the line:"Mordin, cmon' I know You salarians, holding the line is all you do..

didn't kirahae die on virmire? oh shi-"

  • @fluffyzhangfei Dude, for the diversionary team, Miranda said some one with experience. And I thought, well the Geth share memories over centuries! And they work as teams right?

I forgot Legion was an inflitrator. I lost half my team because of him... :)

  • @ReynoldAckerson Fail.

Keep Legion in your party if possible. His Geth Sniper is effective.

  • @ReynoldAckerson Geth do not infiltrate.

  • @Phaden666 :P well if you look at what class the game says he is he's an infiltrator.

  • @ReynoldAckerson Geth do no intentionally infiltrate.

  • @fluffyzhangfei

Kirahhe only dies if you didn't provide enough diversions on virmire

  • @fluffyzhangfei

I saved Kirrahe. I disrupted the geth's targeting, blew up the satellite the dish, the geth flyers and did NOT trigget alarms on his side. But yeah, he's dead on his own.

  • the only thing missing in that fight was Grunt with a minigun

  • this song is part of the 3rd mass effect 2 soundtrack "combat" .. seems to me like a dlc soundtrack ;)

  • I should go.

  • @drx975 I wish I could go

  • @drx975 Wish i could go :(

  • Hell, that tune gives me goosebumps, smashing through enemie lines within the collector base. "Supressing fire!"

  • I LOVEwhen they release 'official soundtrack' and dont even add the full soundtrack. I almost but this on Itunes but screw that since some of these awesome songs arent on there....

If you're gonna charge for this shit you should actually put the songs on it.

  • THIS HURTS YOU!

  • Is this the music that plays when you're fighting on the floating platforms in the final mission?

  • @MSK120 It's the music used on the Tali recruitment mission on Haestrom.

  • @MSK120

    sure is!

  • actually I have heard it several places, including Legion's loyalty mission...

  • Does anyone know that song at the end of Tali's Loyalty Mission where you gotta do that nearly impossible fight against the Geth Prime and his midgets?

  • @OmglolNarutorules Theres a video on youtbue called: 'Rescue Tali Soundtrack'. It's actually the entire piece of this

  • GET THIS DOOR OPEN D: <

  • Here they come!

  • OMGosh! I've been trying to find this music for so long. When I heard it, I was under the impression that it was in Tali's theme due to similarities (and if I'm not wrong, it's also inside her loyalty mission at certain points) though after countless listening, I couldn't find it anywhere within her theme. I also heard it when I was quite literally holding the line at last part of Legion's loyalty mission. Thank you so much!

  • the way he's looks at you creeps me out O_o

  • miranda is only second in command because the illusive man was in charge at first and he wanted HIS second in command to watch over shepard

  • @N7Commando Plus she's fit and I would bang that shit if she were real.

  • @Huzzle2 Ass is to big for my taste but everyone has different likes and dislikes...and I dont like the know it all im the best shit she always does

  • Come in! We need this door open, now!

  • It's part of Tali OST.

  • @Mesina2

Hmm, this soundtrack is at every 4th mission man.,.

  • @wanenagasiren

Yes I know, but it is still part of Tali OST.

Listen to Tali OST and you'll hear that this act is there.

  • Not only did you rescue the lost tracks from the game, but you included a link for download; for that you've earned my man love.

  • "Here they come!" Best line out of the suicide mission.

  • love this one

WE NEED TO GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE SHEPARD <3 Zaeed

could you please upload the music that plays when you're about to lose Tali/Legion/Garrus onboard the Normandy if you don't upgrade your shields? It's the bit just after you kill the Oculus for the first time and Jokers going through the debris field, it sounds similar to the start of "Crash Landing" but without the strings

if you do that, you will officially be my favourite person ever

  • The way Garrus says "Supressing fire! Don't let anyone through that door!" is just a crowning moment of awesome.

  • Really gets the adrenilline pumping!

  • Thank you! I love this music, I was waiting for it on the soundtrack and it never came! Thanks so much for posting!

  • ingame ? AMATEUR ! just go to bioware forums, they have a audio extractor for the game, looks complicated at first, but you get around it, much better, altough i must warn the audio is segmented due to the action sequences.

  • Man music like this gets me pumped, bet I could run 3 times as far if I listened to this. Unfortunately, I dont have a working ipod.

  • @Jarsia Im gona attempt to do that lol

  • i say always let Garrus lead the first squad. hes says "suppressing fire,DONT LET ANY1 THRU THAT DOOR!" so epically

  • @SuperTyrant20 i know Right :) i pick him cause he had control over his own squad once.......but mostly for that epic line.

  • @SuperTyrant20 It was no question for me to choose Garrus for squad lead. He's the best ;)

  • @ELFoglalt17 Never let Zaeed lead a squad he'll get people killed. I shouldve listened to the fact that usually he is the only one who survives his missions

  • @Aritakeclan

Then why he dies and others live?

  • @Pappimen maybe because as a mercenary he only cares about his own wellbeing over others.

  • @ELFoglalt17 see now garrus rock sooo fucking hard core you have to keep him with you no questions asked

its more like guarrus take point

  • I think this will only play if you choose Legion or Tali for the pipes, because the track is Geth-oriented

  • @PzVIE43

Kasumi too---if u DL'd here. Remember that she TOO is a tech expert. She just uses it for thievery,

I used her for this part on one of my playthroughs and she worked out just perfectly.
