The points that you have mentioned in this videos are quite core essentials of confidence. I used to be really shy when I become a professional student an year and half ago and I couldn't speak in front my class. Then I joined a public speaking club (Toastmasters) and since then I have been improving constantly. Anyway, my common observation is that 'The person who is genuinely confident MUST BE a good public speaker'. I hope to hear your opinion on this. Thank you Sir.
I think my style has a lot to do with my confidence. I like dressing sharp and looking presentable everyday. It's great to get the compliments! Great video, once again.
"Degrees show nothing more than you can show up on time and you got a piece of paper for putting in a certain amount of money."
Couldn't agree more. I only have a Bachelor's degree, and decided last minute that graduate degrees were a waste for my profession. I still study on my own in my free time, and many of my colleagues with postgraduate degrees have told me they thought I had as much, if not more, education than them.
Education is more than the piece of paper or your grades.
Thanks, Antonio. I think you really hit the nail on the head with the empathy. Coming to the realisation that everyone is, as you say, human, regardless of material wealth, qualifications etc, seems to me a major step in feeling confident amongst others. (Though a tot of whiskey does the job, too.)
Also, left this comment on another video, but I'd be really interested to hear your take on waistcoat style.
Enjoyed the video a lot. And congratulations on your achievements so far, sounds like a journey worthy of being mentioned to any person you might encounter.
As to where my sources of confidence come from:
The biggest boost I ever had to my very low selfesteem that I got from being bullied, was entering Roskilde Marching Show Band where I felt very welcome and as a part of a group that actually had a goal. We have now won the Danish Championship twice which we are the first to ever accomplish.
Hey Antonio, you have to mix it up with you choice of dress for these videos. No offense but it's not cool to wear the same thing for almost every video when your trying to teach viewers about style
@MDSguy It's called the "I have 8 billion dollars so I wear what I want" style, not to mention steve jobs goes against everything Antonio has been saying
@asianinvasion666 having lots of money doesnt exempt you to dress poorly, especially when you're representing a billion dollar company. On the flipside, I don't have a lot of income, yet I still take the time to dress proper and sharp. Being poor is an excuse to not take care of your image. Its about commitment, and steve jobs lacks it.
@asianinvasion666 I shoot in batches - sometimes 10 videos at a time. So that's why my clothing is the same for quite a few vids. I also talk about it in video #100 - but my wardrobe os actually pretty small. I only have 4 jackets that I like to wear in front of the camera because of color/light issues and fit. And at the end of the day - I figure you all care more about getting quality info that YOU can use than me trying to impress with my wide ranging wardrobe.
Excellent video. Thank you.

Confidence is a virtue many men lack today.
I hope at least some of those men will find this information.
