  • it's really helping mate!

  • Cool! Checkout rockabillygone all one word

  • Very helpful Lesson, now I have a better understanding of the way the scale is developed.

    Good for practicing with.

  • Thanks mate, that was really helpful. Very clear, accurate and easy to see what you're talking about. I'm liking the rockabilly style more and more now. Would be cool if you uploaded a vid of mystery train with some improv' ideas.

  • Love it Adrian! Excellent because it is short and easy to grasp. Great job.

  • excellent...straight and to the point!...only ya didn't mention the use of just a touch of delay and reverb to get that legit tone....but no worries!...i'm stealing that lick

  • great lesson.

  • THanks! Just what I was looking for

  • Great lesson. The right amount of theory. Good pace. Relaxed teaching style. Many thanks.

  • Great Vid! It's funny how certain scales 'belong' to certain styles- this one just opened up rockabilly for me! Much appreciated-

  • perfect

  • Nice work my man. Sitting here in Detroit with a stern cup of joe & my les paul feeling it!! Thank you for spending the time to do this.

  • Covered alot of ground in 5 minutes--EXCELLENT!

  • sexy

  • what pedels are you using ??? :) or what effects ?? :)

  • Great lesson - well done

  • the guitar sounds good! Nice video.

hm, when you improvize the scale presented it does not sound like any rockabilly I have heard from my 50s collection? What do I have to play to make it sound like rockabilly? certain fragments of the scale???

  • @zyxp Hey mate, play around with it! Alot of the early rockabilly stuff uses the minor third to major third lick and the major 6. Have a listen to what I'm saying and see if you can pick what I've described. To be honest this stuff probably relates to the more rockabilly revival era, but it's definitely in the old stuff! Johnny Be good for example reallly utilises the blues not and the major third etc... Good luck!

  • Sparrow Big Daddy's are top quality instruments. Encorev.com is liquidating the last remaining US stock of these instant collectors!

  • haha this guy is funny and good.

  • Good Video Adrian... but the the three part version was also good. Now can you show me how to chicken pick quickly a la country style...

  • @ta11438 Hey mate, long time I know but yes I'll do a few more tutorials for sure and right hand will get some more focus!

  • great...

  • Happy to see you back ! with a great video , I think you're a great teacher , you help me to learn a lot !

  • Good stuff! Condensed into one vid is a good move. If people find it too fast they can pause/rewind bits. At the same time you won't be boring those who can keep up!

  • @mrcjk123 Thanks mate!
