  • Who'd love to see Deacon take on Edward? lol

  • That is not brenda song. That little girl was at least 8. Brenda song was most likely 11 by the time this can out

  • if no one's noticed yet, that little girl is brenda song (suite life of zach and cody, social network, etc.)

  • He really hates the Chinese...

  • Hottest scene in the movie. Lol

  • You're and idiot, you know that

  • Anyone seen Bruce Lee's daughter in the park?

  • I love how everything grinds down and all you hear is the ice cream truck as he draws

  • #1 Vampires need bandaids? 0:22

    #2 City bus drivers suck.

  • u know people dont give the blade movies as much credit as they should. like blade was the 1st successful live action marvel comic movie that paved the way for spider-man, x-men etc. they were also the 1st to do bullet time using a slow motion bullet in a movie, and not the matrix. they just didnt use the lil wave lines behind the bullet. SEE THIS IS TH 1ST MOVIE DO DO A BULLET TIME USING A BULLET, NOT THE MATRIX

  • @thebuckrogers22 I wouldn't be surprised if Blade also inspired Dante in devil may cry, having a half breed hunt down his own kind for the death of his human mother.

  • Yew schtupid shun of a bitch. This if a business phone, get auwff of it.

  • "looks like your maskara's running"

"Frost, you're nothing to me...but another DEAD vampire" Blade is BADASS.

god i hate vampires, that's why i love to see Blade kill them all >:)

Frost, good ridance, not so "top of the food chain" in the end huh?he's just a little BITCH,Blade proved it o him HA! :)

  • too bad frost gets fucked in ass(lol tourettes guy)

  • Awesome movie from beginning to end< part 2 was good also then they ruined it with part 3

  • 1:15 Your an animal, Your a Fucking MAniac! HAHAHAHA LOL

  • what language is he speaking at 2:02? sounds spanish or portuguese to me

  • First blade was by far the best. 2nd was so so but with some very good fight scenes and plot. 3rd was a waste.

  • @odc123321 Blade was first in '98 and Matrix was '99. yeah my favorite part of the movie as he quickly draws his gun (left handed!) and shoots slow motion bullets.

  • that cold hearted basterd, throwing that kid, and dracula also threw a baby in the third blade movie, sons of a bitch

  • @bishamon74 lmfao. Yea, but it's funny how Frost is more badass than Drake/Dracula.

  • @jmac0415 they should send this guy to teach those pansies from twilight how a real vampire should be

  • @darkservantofheaven Agreed, as well some of the cast from Interview with a Vampire could help too. Especially the dude that Brad Pitt sliced in half at the covenant.

  • @jmac0415 hell toss in the cast of true blood, eric northman would fuck them up!!

  • @odc123321 I completely agree. But then again Blade may have been the first movie to pull it off... Resident Evil was the first to enact it I think (Albert Wesker). Still one of the coolest shoot scenes of the movie I thought.

  • Saw John Travolta as the villain Deakins in Broken Arrow and kind of thought how this scene might have played out if he'd been cast as Deacon Frost here in Blade. He does do the enemy role well.

  • Hey guys , did you know that in The Comics , Frost was a crooked , middle-aged German scientist who became a vampire through a lab accident(think Morbius but more corrupt)and his main power was creating vampire clones of anyone he`d bitten. Also , he was the one who turned Hannibal King in The Comics , not Danica Talos(who wasn`t in The Comics). He even created a clone of Blade once which was slain by Hannibal.

  • @1993MovieMan I own the comic books, this was a nice adaptation, but it was pretty dope in the comics, but blades outfit in the comics is just tacky

  • I just love the pissed expression on Frost's face, after he checks his face. Pwnage!

  • youre an animal, youre a fuckin maniac !

    love how he says it...

  • blade4hero - I like this film the way it is. I don't it needed Spider-man's CGI wankfest, or The Matrix's pretentious pseudo-philosophical bollocks. As for the vampires in Blade, they are scary in this movie BECAUSE they are so similar to humans. Would this movie really be improved by having vampires with faces like the Buffy vampires? I don't think so.

  • Maybe, but that's not what Blade was about. Blade was about taking a movie based off of a comic book, and making it not suck.

It was successful because it was Pre-columbine, and therefore, bullets flew like popped champagne, vamps got cut up, and also got head in a club full of blood.

I had no idea it wasn't that well received by the critics before I wiki'd it today, but to me, the movie was perfect as it was. Also, you only have to look at Blade III for the alternative (not 2, that rocked)

  • @SunGawdRa for real half the comic books movies before blade sucked ass(except batman, batman returns and the crow) I mean spawn was crap, batman forever was atleast watchable, with a beer or two, batman and robin was....oh man...such bad memories...and worse yet Steal...damn...thats lame

  • @darkservantofheaven, Blade was actually one of the few adaptions to be better than the actual comics it was based on, which is funny because no one really cared about Blade until the movies started coming out.

  • @TheDalinkwent, true Blade was very much a D-lister of comics, he kinda is still, but poeple have a respect for him now, as he is getting another serries of comics next year as well as an anime serries in japan to come out in 2011. But sadly now Deadpool is pretty much the only thing keeping Marvel going right now, and now theres talk that they may kill off spidernan next year

  • Originally when Frost was possessed by La Magra , he would become a literal CG blood monster . But when the film was screened , it took the audience out since they`d become so attached to Dorff`s cold yet charismatic Deacon Frost.(the dated effects didn`t help). So , the ending was rewritten and reshot , giving Dorff an active role in the action.

  • Not all vampire tribes resemble humans. For instance , the Lobishomen tribe resemble werewolves and Eli Damaskinos and The Reapers in Blade 2 resemble the rodentlike Count Orlok of Nosferatu. Also , Drake in Blade:Trinity , like many recent incarnations of Dracula dating back to 1992 , has both a human form and a "superpowered , demon" form.

  • They did slow motion bullets in this movie before Matrix

  • What , you think I`m an idiot or somethin`?I knew that!Oh & The Official Terminology is " Bullet Time ".

  • yes i think you are an idiot. I also think that your asshole is too tight for a real man's cock and you need to settle for Asian penis.

  • Yeah , well I think that you are an intolerant , immature jackass & the worst kind of troll there is!

  • you fairy, you only exist out here because of me

  • I think if that girl had at least screamed when Frost lifted her into the air that would have really added some more drama to the scene! Her face obviously said she was scared. I think her fear paralyzed her so she was too scared to scream for help. On the other hand, she might have just bee keeping her cool, but she is a kid so I think most likely the girl was too scared to scream. Got to admit it would have caught the attention of at least some people in the park.

  • Plot error: On the closeup of the girl's face at 0:23 you can see a small bandaid on Frost's index finger. What does he need bandaids for. He's a vampire and vampires regenerate so any wounds he has should heal themselves. There is no need for him to have a bandaid. Just another small error I noticed aside from him being in broad daylight with no gloves or head and face covering for his skin. Plus he is wearing all black as is Blade which is known to absorb heat into the clothes and cause sweat.

  • At least they gave the "sunblock" excuse. Not much, but something.

  • I think that Stephen's performance here as Deacon Frost was top of the line. Seriously, check out at 2:40 onward. Extremely cold eyes, I don't see how he did it but it's awesome.

  • Its not an Error. Dorff ALWAYS wears that band-aid.

  • Instead of saying, "What do I care?" he should have said, "Let her go Frost or you're ash!" or something firm to show he did care about that girl. That would have got the audience on his side! Then when he rescues her from getting hit by that car the audience would have cheered like crazy! It's little things like that aside from the script that I think make or break the economic success of films today. Can the audience relate and do they care? Those points count!

  • But that line is really corny. I liked the fact, that he bluffed him, it made him seem cooler.

  • can someone upload the whole movie??? please

  • FROST = HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The girl biting Frost's hand to get free in a typical kidnapping scene wouldn't work here because this isn't a normal kidnapping. Frost would just bite her back and then she'd be a vampire and Blade would be in dire straits. Her innocence would be lost in a matter of seconds.

  • I wish I knew who played the role of that little girl. Sure it is a minor role but it would have been cooler if that girl had played a bigger part in the main plot as a victim and Blade brings her back to her parents at the end of the movie (rescues her from deep within the Temple of Eternal Night). Yeah now that would have been awesome!

  • It would have sufficed at 0:24 to see a tear emerge from that girl's eye as she is obviously scared. That alone would have turned up the emotion in this scene. Then to hear an emotional demand from Blade, "Frost, let her go! She has nothing to do with this!" would have really tugged at the emotional hearts of the viewers I think. Especially if Frost proceeded to tear his fangs into the girl's neck and THEN Blade shot him. A sequence of events like that would make the action more relevant.

  • If David Goyer and Stephen Norrington really wanted to make this scene even more dramatic they would have had Frost bite the girl's neck before tossing her in the street and then bite random passersby on his way out the park and tried close range combat with Blade's sword. That would a turned up the heat in this scene.

  • That girl has gotta be thinking, "I don't know who these strange men are but I want to go back to my mommy and daddy right now. I'm scared." People are walking past them like nothing is wrong. Frost is obviously blending in for the moment. Once Blade starts shooting panic starts.

  • If Frost had bit that girl the results would have been tragic. U wouldn't have wanted to see Blade have to sacrifice her for the good of humanity too. Or he could have just brought her to his shop for Whistler to try to stabilize her and keep the venom infection from spreading further.

  • Bet the girl's parents are wondering where their precious daughter is. SOMEONE should have been keeping an eye on her, that's all I know!

  • That was intense! Frost is so evil! He only cares about his own ambition. It makes me sick! Whatever happens to the humans matters little to him. It was even making Blade tingle with anger. I can feel his pain. I know if anyone was hurting people I cared for I would be mad too.
