  • so i was loading my film correctly! teehee :)

  • (cont) At about 0:28 you should be holding the canister in the right direction instead of letting the advance lever tug it, which might make the film go off kilter.

Finally, rewinding the rewind knob to get rid of the slack isn't a good way to go about it as if you need to rewind a lot there's a possibility of rewinding exposed film into what would be the first exposure. Holding the knob gently (not so hard that you don't let it turn) as you advance the lever for the first few times is better.

  • This will usually get the film in fine, but the technique isn't very good practice in my opinion. Putting the film canister in and then pulling the film to reach the spool for example might cause a clumsy person to poke at the shutter (which is made of delicate cloth in this particular camera). Pulling out some film before putting the canister in is better in my opinion.

  • Thank u

    Really needed this tutorial.

I'm spoiled by digital photography. LOL
