i have one of these . if u wanty to activly increase delta frequncies .u can se an instant changhe from simply putting on gainsfield device tried with several people and every time same response.did u use those shity pads they shipped with them.yea im happy with the products but when my computer went to shit and i got a new 1 i had no way of getting the activity map on my new pc.tried contacting the co. but they only want to sell me another 1.if u want to talk more about my research hit me up.

Hi there, This is an interesting video, as part of my dissertation, i am monitoring the effectiveness of audio inducing delta sleep. I am using a Mindset by Neuro sky and getting the research tools. I know much about the different areas of the brain, but little about interpreting data, how would you feel about analysing some data for me or even posting a tutorial video on how to?

@guypie neurosky is crap. I bought it a while ago and sold it not much later because it is a scam. It simply doesn't work. I hope Emotiv works..

@piedro5390 I bought emotive instead and its simply brilliant from what i can see, however it has a tendency to loose signal to the USB dongle, which is a pain.

@guypie get yourself an usb extention cord .so the dongle isnt right next to the pc tower. this really helps.oh and if u think the pads that it comes with suck.respond with an e mail and ill send u in the right direction

Well I guess, one have some motivation and purpose to bye it. And then a lot of free time to understand the results. But this a cheap solution compared to what I have been looking at over the years, and fore me personally, I find it very help full to have access to full emotiv.com/forum/

- Can you move your head (and yourself) without the reception beeing afected?

-Is it possible to record a session and then see how your mind worked?

-Do you recomend emotiv over other brands? (i am also mainly interested in observing brainwaves and emotions while doing different types of meditations, and practices..)

-Is the fact you have to water the sensors very uncomfortable?

-What does it mean when they say it can detect your emotions?

Yes I can move around and turn my head, but if I move my ears then it picks up the muscle activity.

Yes you can record in the Testbench app and replay it there, but you can't see the data in the Brain Activity app the, I do the video of me to have some ref. of what happens when..

I don't have any experience with other brands, but I think the Emotiv Epoc a very good product and easy to work with. But it can be difficult to find a way rest my head.

Yes you have to wet the censors. But I don't think it is a problem and there should be some dry sensors on the way.

Think you have to try it to see how the emotions part works.
