  • hey mate, i'm not a lawyer, so i don't know how to do this, but i used some of your music for a video i made, for a peace project thing. i'll show you the video when i'm finished with it?!

  • GREAT VOICE BRO!!! Love it the whole thing

  • best cover i've seen. everyone elses seriously need vocal work. holy shit.

  • Very good, I just didn't like the video clips with you clipping the scissors. I have a mild case of sicosnipophobia, and seeing you happily do that really made me cringe...

    Great audio though.

  • Really nicely done man! I usually hate covers but I actually listened to this the whole way through! 5 *

  • not my style of music.but i had to watch this the whole way through.youve got talent as a musician and video maker.keep up the good work.

  • Sounds really really good dude. It makes me want to multitrack and film it. I've multitracked a lot, but never filmed it. Looks time consuming. Your audio/video quality is really good. If you've got a minute, come check out our version of this son..

  • perfect job,dude !

I mean it must have taken a lot of time from you do edit this video o.o'

and, how's the tunning of your guitar? It seems like Dallas likes to play along with tunnes .-.

  • you can tell you put a lot of work into this..

and even if dallas is uncomparable,

    i thought it was great

  • I like it even if nothing can compare to Dallas voice.

  • Really nice mate

  • beautiful cover my friend <3

  • this is a great cover!!!! got your own twist and shit on it. love your style matey!

please be a good guy and check me out man, think you might like it. seems like your sort of thing. by the sounds.

    many love and good luck.

    great tune/cover :)

  • what video software do you use?

  • IT'S A SECRET!

  • only kidding - Final Cut Express

  • That was great, nicely done. do you think you could send me the tab that you used? I can't seem to find an accurate one.

  • this must have been quite the project ha, but it turned out awesome

oh and macs are the best, props!

  • amazing :)

  • VERY NICE...but there doesn't need to be so many guitar layers...they kind of drown out the vocals. nicely done, took a lot of work i presume...5*****

  • Thanks very much. I think you must have watched it in normal quality because it's in mono when you don't click the link on the right hand side. In high quality it's stereo and the vocals are far more prominent. I'd never drown myself out with guitars on purpose haha.

  • oh ur right

that version is a lot better

    nice

  • Cool. Nicely done!!

  • is it possible to do this with imove '08? becasuse final cut express seems rather hard, if you have any tips please get back to me

  • Nope. Gotta use final cut.

  • where can I find some tutorials on how to make a videoSong

  • I don't think there are any tutorials on how to make a videoSong. There are tutorials on how to do split screening, but that's about it.

  • What did you record audio and video with?

  • With the MacBook built in camera and microphone. Recently I've been using a sony handicam for video though. But still using the built in MacBook microphone.

  • oh, I have that too so thats not a problem, what about syncronization? And can you link me a good tutorial

  • I just do it by eye. I don't know of any tutorials. I should probably make one at some point.

  • I mean the spit screening not the syncing lol

  • Just search for 'how to split screen in final cut'. You'll find a few.

  • do you have aim, it would really help if someone walked me through this

  • I don't really have time to walk you through the process mate. The tutorials are a good place to start.

  • oh :( thanks though, what program did you use to record video and sound?

  • Audio in Garageband, and IMovie to capture video -- then import the videos into final cut.

  • can't you just record the video and audio with imovie, how do you record them sepperatly, wat if their out of sync

  • You can't multi-track with iMovie. You have to sync up the audio and video afterwards. Just press record in iMovie, and press record in Garageband. That's how I do it anyways. Then I delete the audio from the video's and use the polished garage band audio

  • is there a way to click them at the same time?

  • Haha. Not that I know of. That would be magic!

  • how'd you create this? I want to do something like this

  • that's great!!

do you know what the chords for this song are?

if you do, then please let me know!

    thanks heaps!!

  • dude this is so good. The only thing was that i wish your voice was more softer. that's all. but amazing job.

  • don't diss a guy over something he can't control. i thought the whole thing was solid

  • you should check out pomplamoose (nataly dawn and jack conte)

  • I'm already a big fan of those guys! That's why I did a VideoSong. I only have a guitar and me though! Hehe

  • Very nice cover indeed. love the quality of sound in that video also. Keep it up mate!

  • Dude, I wish I could do that =P.

You have an amazing talent, though I'm sure you've probably herd that a million times before.

  • this is so neat :]

    definitely worth all the effort.

i love your voice! :] what a wonderful video.

  • Why thank you, and thanks for subscribing! I've got a gig on Saturday night so hopefully there will be new videos from that soon!

    Happy New Year for 2moro!!

  • hey how did you do that splitscreen thingy?!

    nice cover man creative.

  • I use final cut express. It takes a lot of work to get it all timed right etc... Jack Conte is a master of it, you should check him out! Thanks man!

  • this is a great over!

i wish i could play save your scissor.

its my goal for 2009! haha.

    you're a great singer too!!

  • Thank you very much! Merry Christmas!!

  • Thanks a lot man! I've been trying to figure out this kind of video for a while, and I'm pretty happy with this as the first one. The next one I have planned is going to one of my originals called 'Thief in the Night'. It's got lots of guitar parts so it should work nicely! Thanks for stopping by man! I watch all your videos.

  • Ben, this is a REALLY cool production! Totally appreciate the work that went into it and the product is fantastic! Dude, the guitar work, the vocals ... haha, the scissors. It paid off so much. Dude, do more of these if you can. Really impressive. You must be damn proud of this!
