I often wonder how people can look at the Great Pyramids and not think about slavery.
The Pyramids are great structures, but they were built upon the backs of innocent slaves, most of whom probably worked to their deaths. In American Slavery is was not very profitable to have a slave die, just being honest.
Yet, since time is so far gone when talking of the Great Pyramids many only look at their magnificence, not the millions of personal tragedies that it took to build it. Shame on us.
