Very nice X. I have a black 09 X myself. I've done quite a bit of work to also. I've added the Shrockworks front and rear bumpers, 5 inch lift kit, safari roof, and currently saving up to purchase Stillins Supercharge also.. I'll be posting some videos also.

As far as Toyota having some advantages.. you took a more diplomatic approach to that statement. I've ran circles around FJ's and Landcruisers down in Moab. Needless to say, Utah's SexTerra Clubs contain some prior Toyota owners.

Always liked the look of the XTERRA despite myself being a Jeep guy. Looks like a fun little dune runner for Glamis ya got there! Am out of Colorado but have fam in Louisiana. Check out LA4x4 as I usually sync my trips back with some of the AWOL runs up to St. Francisville etc. Figure if I'm making a road trip, it had damn well better include some wheeling. (despite my hatred for mud, rocks all the way here)

I'm running 35s on 4" suspension only, but on a Jeep TJ with Metalcloak froint fenders and cut steel corners on the rear, and they still look tiny under it as a result of the larger openings to begin with and then me going even further to modify them. I could easily run 37s but I wouldn't use all of my lift. As it is now, my tire stops about 2cm from the front fender at full flex which is where my bump stops kiss. <3 upper and lower Currie CAs.

Not exactly sure. Base lift kit was 1200, but I added at least 2000 bucks worth of upgrades to the suspension kit. Wheels & Tires = not cheap. Supercharger is listed now at about 3500 (I think), but I bought it when it first came out (5000 bucks + install). Thats just the stuff that you can see.... there are a ton of other mods done that cost 100 bucks here, 100 bucks there. All in all its cost quite a bit, but the fun that it has returned is worth it!

Research: Pretty much any online wheel finder will give you the correct dimensions. Or just google "bolt pattern 06 xterra" or whatever vehicle you have, and you will pretty much get the info you need.

There is no way the front diff would hold up to 35's... heck I have already blown the rear end so it wouldnt hold up either. Plus I dont think 37s would stuff in the rear wheel wells when fully articulated. I know of one xterra with a similar lift as me, plus a 2 or 3 inch body lift, and he is only running 35 inch tires.

The base lift kit is from Calmini... but i pieced it together from a lot of other parts. Check out PRGproducts for more info on the parts.

Tires are ProComp Xtreme M/T's

Wheels are ProComp 8089's (i think)

@flyinhigh420yadig You're funny. The stock 4.0L V6 in the Xterra puts out 261 bhp, 286 tq or so. 4500 lbs With that super charger it's probably up in the 300 hp/tq range.

yeah 300 to the wheels with 35's that stillen suercharger adds about 100 hp. you through a chip intake and xhaust with that and youd probably be around 315-320 at the wheels
