no it's not. if u didn't purchase it. then it's illegal.

if u use torrents. look up mini breaks. it has 40 vinyl records that u see as breaks as regular vinyl. as well as scratch roulette, breakonomics 1-4, and ultimate breaks & beats. check em out. all u wanted but couldnt find in one place.

I got mine Thursday. The only problem I had was the Laptop I was using wasn't powerful enough to handle it. So I went and got another laptop (with a dual core processor) and got everything running in under 10 minutes. This unit is awsome! I upgraded from a Denon DN-HD2500 (using it as a midi controller in Virtual DJ) to this. I was debating between this and the Vestax VCI-300 and settled on the NS7. I have NO regrets! This is the most awsome DJ tool EVER! Hit me up if you have questions!

one quick question, im debating over the same exact 2 systems....but im a EDM dj...dont really spin hip hop...is it worth spending more for the ns7 because ive seen only videos of dj's using for scratching and i never do that...

I thought the same thing when I watched the videos. All you see is scratching. Yes it's great for that, but I'm not much of a scratch DJ either. I actually started using a bit of scratch during my transitions from song to song now and then since buying the NS7, but even when I don't scratch it's still worth the money. It's very easy to set up at an event, and it's extremely easy to use. But coming from the Denon HD2500, this made DJing fun again for me.

yes it does...but you have to download the "numark ns7 midi mapper" from the vdj website. only bad thing, it doesnt have the scratch function (really sux)
