Rewatching this video again, it is just SO perfect. I'm still in season 5 of Lost, and I just cannot freaking believe that Kate and Sawyer do not end up together in the end. WHY?? There is nobody on that show with that chemistry, that connection. The way they look at each other says it all to me, and to all those who are not blind. In this particular vid, my favorite moment was 6:35-6:37. With such melancholy and love in their eyes, it makes me want to cry xD
ahh amazing it makes me love them even more these two were epic and although i love Jate too i never thought about that ending with Skate it was so clear that they belonged together and they have this amazing chemistry that is undeniable it is just PERFECT <3 <3

This video is amazingly put together and makes me remember how good Sawyer and Kate were. The end of Lost was crazy because Kate loved Sawyer and Sawyer did't love Juliet, he loved Kate as this video shows.
God I love them...Can't stand to think about what the writers did to them tough (yep, it still makes me mad). I mean, really, would it have been so hard to at least let them sit next to each other on the plane, sharing a meaningful look, or squeezing each others hands? But, that's not the point. This...this just blew my mind. You managed to bring back every single feeling I had about Skate in one video. I've missed them so much and I've been so bitter about what the writers did to Skate....but I think I'm ok with it now after this video. No other couple on the Island had what they did. I just started Lost so i've only seen the first season but i love it so much. The characters are so complex, that's the whole beauty of LOST. It's too soon to say if i'm team Skate or team Jate (i kinda like them both) but i have a feeling i'll be team Skate (Jack can be boring sometimes xD).
I've watched this video 6 times. My feelings are mixed, I miss them more than anything, I miss the moments of anguish, complicity, love between them. Theres a big hole in my heart that will never be filled again, and even though they have not fied together in the end, I believe they had a chance when they left the island. Skate was epic and forever will be. <3
One more thing, i really hate when jaters make videos of them or comment.

As a hardcore Jater I don't usually watch Skate vids. But I saw it had 8 minutes so I gave try xd AMAZING! Really beautiful, well made and very emotional. I'm definitely a jater and I don't usually watch a 8 minutes skate video ;) but this one is really beautiful and sweet. You captured all the great moments about Kate & Sawyer. Well done, you didn't make me be a skater, but I like them more after this =)
When a person can make a video with 8 minutes showing the chemistry of two human beings, their journey, their similarities and differences, to me it means that those people are endgame. This is being EPIC! Not some couple who got their "happy ending" in the last episode and in heaven or whatever the hell it was. And enough said because this is perfection, the epitome of good vidding.

I don't have the words to describe how beautiful this video is - I can't understand how they monumentally screwed up the ending to Lost - So much was built around Sawyer and Kate and then it became the 'Jack' show - You have to be blind if you cannot see the love in this video, or at least hear it in the many epic quotes that you used - Amazing work :)

They are the most epic couple EVER, I don't even care about endgame, as you said, Skate was more than afterlife love... I'm sure they worked out their issues outside the island, he fullfilled his promise to her, that he would take her away from that place, and that screams true love for me. Skate is really about the journey, and you can't get sad once you think of their destination, because they were EPIC all along.

I could ramble on about this video forever and I still don't think I would be able to express how much I love it. Damn, just when I am getting over the heartbreak of what this show became. These two are one of the best love stories ever shown on tv, what an amazing journey. Skate really had it all, and you captured this perfectly. The angst, the snark, the understanding. These two really were each others other half. The one person they could be themselves around.

I totally agree with you. If u ask me, Lost finale just didn't deserve Skate. It was soooo bad, it deserved pathetic, boring, forced and fake couples like Sawyer/Juliet (i still don't get this one...) and Kate/Jack (this one is just beyond riddiculous). And in the end, we all know the one true love and couldn't care less about writers' little minds.

OMG! This is BEAUTIFUL! SO SO stunning and just breath taking! Skate is my OTP, I LOVE them and was disappointed that they didn't end up together. Especially after all that hinting in season 6, I was so sure it would be them. But even so, they were SO beautiful and I will always love them. I just watched all of this, I was hooked! Beautiful video, I could of cried. Just thinking we'll never see another scene with them again. :( They built them up for nothing then a rushed ending, Juliet/Sawyer? I mean wtf. Jate didn't even get a real build up. Rewatching this video again, it is just SO perfect. I'm still in season 5 of Lost, and I just cannot freaking believe that Kate and Sawyer do not end up together in the end. WHY?? There is nobody on that show with that chemistry, that connection. The way they look at each other says it all to me, and to all those who are not blind. In this particular vid, my favorite moment was 6:35-6:37. With such melancholy and love in their eyes, it makes me want to cry xD

These two were meant for each other, no matter what that crappy cheese feast of a finale threw at us. Skate got all the important romantic scenes and the deep connection was between Sawyer and Kate not Jack and Kate. No last minute

This...this just blew my mind. You managed to bring back every single feeling I had about Skate in one video. I've missed them so much and I've been so bitter about what the writers did to Skate....but I think I'm ok with it now after this video. No other couple on the Island had what they did. I just started Lost so i've only seen the first season but i love it so much. The characters are so complex, that's the whole beauty of LOST. It's too soon to say if i'm team Skate or team Jate (i kinda like them both) but i have a feeling i'll be team Skate (Jack can be boring sometimes xD).

I've watched this video 6 times. My feelings are mixed, I miss them more than anything, I miss the moments of anguish, complicity, love between them. Theres a big hole in my heart that will never be filled again, and even though they have not fied together in the end, I believe they had a chance when they left the island. Skate was epic and forever will be. <3
One more thing, i really hate when jaters make videos of them or comment.
For me, it's like they do not deserve to even talk about it.

This is being EPIC! Not some couple who got their "happy ending" in the last episode and in heaven or whatever the hell it was. DUE ANIME AFFINI. it's BEYOND ME WHY THESE TWO DIDN'T END UP TOGETHER. but in some sense they did: they left the island TOGETHER. it's all that matter in the end. Lost failed in the finale but SKate didn't. because they had the real journey..they didn't fit in that church all shiny and smiley and fake. they belong nowhere, yet they belonged to the island. your video shows this perfectly. the CONNECTIONS. you can't just avoid the SK journey.

Lasciatemi dire una cosa: Solo chi era investito del romance, solo a chi interessava, solo a chi gli stava a cuore la faccenda può davvero capire. E no, non è perchè vedavamo quello che volevamo vedere ma perchè la cosa ci toccava nel profondo, analizzavamo ogni scena, sapevamo ogni minimo dettagli, ogni sguardo, ogni parola, noi riuscivamo a vedere nei cuori dei personaggi. Siccome io shippo anche JK (e non chiedermi COME .. anzi, è evidente che non sono mai stata e non sarò mai SK doc all 100% perchè capisco bene che ci sono fan MOLTO più fan di me!) il finale non mi ha fatto queste impressioni. Ma cmq ti capisco e non sono per nulla d'accordo con quelli che dico finale JK = ovvio. Non era ovvio proprio un bel niente. Perchè la questione è rimasta aperta fino alla fine.

Citando "There is more than one of everything", col voler dire che quello che è TUTTO per te può non essere ABBASTANZA per altri e VICERVERSA. Non mi capita spesso di commentare dato che tutti dicono sempre quello che vorrei dire. "Bel video" "bell'editing" "bel cropping" etc etc. Ma questa volto commento perchè a parte il lavoro professionale tu ti sei spinta oltre! Sei riuscita a toccare l'essenza skate come vedo in pochi video, ed il fatto che sia fatto dopo quel terribile finale e che ti faccia ancora pensare "uh o_O ma come cazzo è possibile che non siano finiti insieme? OMG Michela!!!! This is SO beautiful!! I'm crying my eyes out... OMG... Skate!!! They are the most epic couple EVER, I don't even care about endgame, as you said, Skate was more than afterlife love... I'm sure they worked out their issues outside the island, he fullfilled his promise to her, that he would take her away from that place, and that screams true love for me. Skate is really about the journey, and you can't get sad once you think of their destination, because they were EPIC all along.

In entrambi i rapporti ho intravisto - in fasi diverse del telefilm - elementi che potevo apprezzare se non amare (e ho apprezzato/amato), ma è sempre mancato quel qualcosa CHE. Un quadro che potesse conquistarmi nella sua interezza. Faccio questa premessa per dirti che, nonostante ciò, il tuo video è riuscito a trasmettermi tutto il tuo amore per loro. I could ramble on about this video forever and I still don't think I would be able to express how much I love it. Damn, just when I am getting over the heartbreak of what this show became. These two are one of the best love stories ever shown on tv, what an amazing journey. Skate really had it all, and you captured this perfectly. The angst, the snark, the understanding. These two really were each others other half. The one person they could be themselves around.

ODDIO, caspita, 8 minuti? OTTO MINUTI?! WOW. si vedi che li ami proprio, ma proprio tanto! una SKater fedele fedele (al contrario di me, che da anni ancora non mi son convinta LOL). Cmq, che devo dire, stupendo *___* amo tutti i paragoni che hai fatto, e l'inizio è particolarmente convincente per delineare i due personaggi. In questo modo risulta un video su loro non solo come coppia, ma anche come singoli personaggi, con le loro vite, i loro difetti, le loro scelte

Grazie per aver racchiuso in 8 minuti la loro essenza, rendondo onore a ciò che sono sempre stati. I James e Kate che abbiamo amato, i due che nessuna memoria selettiva o giochi di potere economici sono riusciti a sporcare. La dedica è stupenda e inaspettata, ma è arrivata dritta al cuore. "We have a connection", per citare qualcosa che ci sta davvero a pennello con questo video.

I totally agree with you. If u ask me, Lost finale just didn't deserve Skate. It was soooo bad, it deserved pathetic, boring, forced and fake couples like Sawyer/Juliet (i still don't get this one...) and Kate/Jack (this one is just beyond riddiculous). And in the end, we all know the one true love and couldn't care less about writers' little minds.

OMG! This is BEAUTIFUL! SO SO stunning and just breath taking! Skate is my OTP, I LOVE them and was disappointed that they didn't end up together. Especially after all that hinting in season 6, I was so sure it would be them. But even so, they were SO beautiful and I will always love them. This video is SO perfect in showing their journey, it's so right-on and beautifully done. Best Skate vid EVER, no joke, and i've seen alot! I just watched all of this, I was hooked! Beautiful video, I could of cried. Just thinking we'll never see another scene with them again. :( They built them up for nothing then a rushed ending, Juliet/Sawyer? I mean wtf. Jate didn't even get a real build up. I don't get how people can ship Jate over Skate. It's like Brucas and Leyton, because Leyton had a real build up I accept them together and I ship them as well as Brucas. I don't understand some people xD
