Classy stuff OpenLeft. More so because you don't think it is bad when your side does drugs because they don't try to hold a higher standard.

Obviously you don't understand the issue.
We aren't saying that John McCain or Cindy are bad people because she abused drugs. Many decent people fall into bad habits.
The issue is that John McCain abused his position as a Senator to manipulate the justice system, so that Cindy would not be held legally accountable for her crimes.
John's manipulation and abuse of power are what's important here.

ok, sounds like something to investigate. I hope it doesn't become a fishing expedition and endless open issue like a conspiracy theory. Hasn't this been investigated and closed?
