Aww he's so cute. I want a dog just like him. But we have a newfie/lab mix and he's 6 right now. We rescued him and he still has a lot of energy but he thinks that he's a lap dog...

Lovely dog! I have a half newfie, half lab/chow mix with the most wonderful curly tail and calm temperment. He gets all his best traits from the newfie side... and some of the worst, like drooling! Enjoy your curly-tailed pup.

OMG people read before posting!! Its a rescue dog!! so they havent interbred it and they never claimed it was a pedigree!
I have a newfoundland with a top pedigree (Crufts winners as great-grandparents) and his best friend on the beach is a newfoundland x irish wolfhound (Another rescue dog like theirs) He may be a cross but he is as happy and nice natured as my alfie :D Just can just alot higher lol

When I rescued him from death row they said he was some sort of newfie mix. It really doesn't matter to me what he is as long as I saved his life!!
