i've been trying to learn this by ear and looked up a tutorial for that little transitiony bit (around 8:37) because i can't for the life of me manage to nail it, but when you play that part, it still doesn't sound quite like brendon's version. i could swear there are more notes in there (i.e. another layer, some right-hand harmony) than what you're playing... idk, thoughts?
