  • I think you're really good. :) I wish you all the best and would like to see one of your movies on the big screen sometime. Take care!

  • dude, learn to light dumb ass

  • I'm sorry to tell you this but they wont make another series of On the lot. Well basically I've never watched it: :) and I'm a filmaker myself but quite low on equipment.

The show has been cancelled, but this is a great film you did, A bit confusing but nevertheless with an interesting aesthetic.

  • Actually the movie is quite great, it makes me reflect about the esthetic of another film "requiem of a dream" because of the editing.

  • Welp, the intro was good.

  • duuuuuuuude. kickass cinematography and editing. where'd you learn this?

  • fuck that was scarry...hate it..

  • nice.. interesting :)

  • what school did you go to

  • This was very good. I thought the scenes were well-shot. The acting was very good.

  • You think the acting was good? Weird..I kinda thought it sucked lol

  • Film was ok but I have to say you are a major mega-hottie!!

  • why thank you ;)

  • What kind of camera did you shoot this with? The quality's great. And what did you use to edit? Final Cut?

  • dude it's not all about camera and the software used. composition, lighting, acting, timing, plays a really big key here.

  • Yes, but the outdoor shots are great and I'm not concerned with the acting or timing. I'm just trying to achive the same picture quality, so I know composition and lighting are huge factors, but judging by the intro he uses a consumer cam, and I would like to know what consumer cam is cabable of this.

  • thanks,

i used Panasonic DVX100a to shoot the film with. I use Vegas to edit. Bwshr is correct though, it really depends on how you use it. I've seen pretty bad films shot with DVX100a. and good films (not many) shot with consumer camera

  • some parts were pretty freaky adn suspenseful like when that guy was like.. "skech me whabalaaghajhsahal sketch me" but it made no sense at all and the actress wasnt too great.

  • the whabhabelbalabl part scared me because i was'nt expecting it lol

  • There are times when her acting doesn't seem convincing...like when she first encounters him.

  • I submitted a film to the show that is on here called "The mystery of the stolen horse".

  • naaahhhh...didnt make any sense to me...some shots are awesome...but the concept doesnt really work....

  • omg that part at the begining with the dude talking made me jump lol

  • This freaked me out a bit.

  • "A bone chilling, edge of your seat thriller! Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, great short film."

  • I'll call you Dave-Kyle =)

  • uhm.. hes trying to hard.

half the shots are crap TRYING to look good...

and i dont think his goal will work

at least it wont in the way he wants.

  • that was crap

  • reminds me of jacobs ladder... sorft of...

  • By the way, I'm sure you've heard this before, but you sound a lot like Kianue Reaves from the Matrix. (Did I even spell that right?)

  • Very impressive. I love how you used light to induce your moods, as well as the "crazy-eye" shoots to develope the feamle character's personality. I've made a few comedic improv short films, and I;m currently working on a full-length thought-provoking one. It should be finished by August. Anyways, I want to be a film director too and wanted to let you know that you can really make a difference with you work. Keep it up!

  • Okay well i dont think the story was fully developed, and the acting was a bit off, but I will say that ur editing and direction was on point.. that was wat made ur film watchable...If u had a better story and actor u would make a great film... keep it up tho... its good

  • Definitely too many jealous haters. I enjoy this very much!

  • All these people are a bunch of haters! And they talk alot of sh*t for not even having any videos up themselves. Malcontent rocks! These people obviously have no taste...

  • Your entry reminds me of the 'ask a ninja'

The direction was pretty good and you've got an eye for detail. The sound and music was a little unintentionally distracting though.

  • good luck

  • im sorry, but that was horrible. the angles sucked, the intro sucked, the actors sucked - just being honest.. you're not going to win.

  • should of got a better actress

  • The plot was stupid and not very well thought out, but the filming was good... yeah

  • Her acting is not very good. Some of the effect scenes were cliche (been there done that). I can't say how is this compare to other entries cause I havent seen the other ones yet.

  • That was pretty good, we liked it, we are young filmmakers that didn't find out about on the lot until they were done excepting applicants. We have some cool trailers on our own web-site.(Check out the address below)

    h t t p

    ://geocities. c o m /generalzeldar/finalfrontierentertainment. h t m l (there are not really spaces between letters)

We are going to try to enter if they have a second season. But until then we will just enjoy the real guys.
