LegMakerIntakes (LMI) is the current authorized mfr of those design, and he is selling a pure carbon fiber version for about $280. If I were searching today, it would certainly be at the top of my list.

No, it's an aFe cone filter... just like a K&N though. I don't have the dimensions, but it is custom designed to be just about the biggest you can fit in the space there.

Of all intakes tested back in 06/07, the AirHammer was showing the biggest gains (7-9 hp&tq) and highest airflows (see lxforums Mods Face Off 5 ).
