  • this is really cool

  • can you please show the odd meter setup in the kp3? great work man you are one very few who used odd meter with kp3 on youtube...thank you

  • @georgesadak It's really not that complicated. Just make your beats and stuff the way you want them, then import them into the KP3.. next you go into Loop Edit mode by hitting shift+bank(A,B,C,D).then press the Program Memory button 8 so it is off. now it should be in 7/4.

  • So, just out of curiosity... Did you set the KP3 at 8/7 the tempo of your other gear to get the 7/8 loop, or did you cheat and just record 8 measures, and then chop the last 8th off? I've messed around with both, and to tell the truth, I'm not sure which is easier (though with other time signatures, like 11 and 9, you don't really have a choice). So happy to discover someone else who's doing this, btw... More please!

  • @raggedgloryhole I have recorded 8 beats and chopped the last one off using loop edit. You must do it this way if you want your effects to stay in time with the tempo.... If you just use a different tempo to make it fit there is no point in using the kaoss pad since any effects you attempt will turn out like garbage because of the radically different tempos.

  • @KaslarProductions Yeah... I've defnitely run into that. Whenever I run my synth or my buddy's Kaossilator at a different tempo, I have to be very careful with the effects I choose, because using grain-shifters and the like can quickly make it... very abstact... to put it charitably. I'm afraid the only solution is... more Kaoss Pads! Seriously... Beardyman's up to like 5 in a row, and he doesn't even usually break out of 4/4. :-p

  • nice, also, looks like fun.

  • Good job!

  • This is actually really sick. Nice tune!

  • Sweet tune !

  • I use a pretty standard home audio system. Just got the outs going straight to my equipment. It works great and sounds awesome!!! Try that, because nice big speakers make a big difference.

  • Awesome man, thanks for the tips. I have some experience with setting up the drivers and all from my nanokontrol/pad so thats what im working on today. Thanks for clearing that up.

  • Sounds really cool! Hey, I just got a friends KP3, and am curious as to how your connecting it to your amps. I don't have good speakers yet, and just wondering how you would recommend setting up to have good sound.

  • @vertigosynapse Well, in this video, it is going into my mixer and I'm using headphones to listen to what I'm doing.. The mixer output is going into my computer for recording.

As for amplifying. I would recommend connecting the RCA outputs to a stereo system. or the mono jack into a guitar amp...

  • Good job my friend !

    Me like

  • CRAP

  • @nobody000tube Go have sex with Tommy Lee.

  • great

  • The KP3 looks sick. is it an overall great buy?

  • @aDveebay

YES!!!! It is everything i expected and more. Get one and you won't regret it. It can EASILY find a place in anyones studio, or hold up on its own.... I wish I could get the Kaossilator Pro.... but I will have to deal with the original until I can get on....

  • Excellent. Keep up the good work.

  • @eidco Thanks for the kind word fellow lover of 7

  • Interesting time signature on this song and great job at playing the flute lead on that pad!

  • Thank you. I had like 8 takes of this song. this one just came out smoothest...

  • Nice one man, ... I liked that, very cool.
