The first 8 seconds of this video was me and my parents house, or what is left of it that day, on a quiet sunday afternoon and I saw the the tornado before it hit saving me and my parents life.. what a day it was cant imagine it happening again.......

the tornado also hit the school i graduated from last year. Prattville Christian Academy. it destroyed all the athletic equipment. it didnt even touch the school buildings. our basketball gym/dome was strewn across the interstate.

It's amazing how much damage just the wind can do. I live in Enterprise, so I know how tough the clean up can be!!! I hope y'all have a speedy clean up and your community can pull together like ours did!!! It's strange how it takes something like this to really unite a community.

this video shows the street i live on[4:35 -5:14] and it shows the total destruction to some houses while others were left virtually untouched. our house did recieve major damage but thankfully we did not loose our house. im so thankful for everone who has helped! Thank you everyone! this is a great video toO!

30 seconds into this video is my parents home where me, my 4 yr old daughter, my mom, dad and sister were all under the stairs in a closet when the tornado hit. Video had to be taken the day after because all of the debris had already been moved to the street & windows and roof already boarded up. The red truck in the front is my dad's and before the storm it was parked on the street exactly where this video was shot from.(the 4runner was mine) Amazing and powerful. Thank God we're all ok.

I live 20 miles away from Prattville and I can't believe it didn't even rain at my house! I am unbelievably happy! But soo sad for all my friends in Prattville and all the poor families that had to go through this! You are in my paryers!

Thanks for the update. We own a house in Highland Ridge, but are currently stationed in Italy. It's been hard getting an accurate picture of the devastation. Thankfully, for the loss of property rather than life.....

it was terrible. the tornado hit my house over on sheila blvd. we were still inside too. but god really had his hand over all of prattville. i'm really shocked no one got seriously injured or killed.

The damages from the tornado were really bad!! But everyone in Prattville is working together non stop to get things cleaned up!!

yep it was bad in fact i was in the movie theater by lowes and i was watching jumper and the power went out and every one was crying and it was just horrible i was at highland ridge bad and danill pratt got some dammage thats were i go but it was horrible right next to the school kmart was destroyed it was bad....
