I can get as high, but mario will always slide down the green wall, I have to to the castle edge when I'm at the top, but he will always slide down..

lol true alot of glitches and dude i havent played mario ion a long time i'm sure i can pull that off now but when i was young when this game first came out i remember trying to do that lol it was the only thing i would try everytime i played the damn thing XD i shall try it again later today :3

Actually Yoshi only appears after collection 120 stars. So getting to the roof with 0 stars is basically pointless other than for fun lol

If you jump on the bridge trying to go near the door you will do the Ghost Lakitu glitch... I know how to do it on the left side too. Just jump and kick and keep going...

ya, old yoshi is up dere. usually you can only get there from the cannon that opens when u get 120 stars. then when u get up there, yoshi gives you 100 lives, as a gift from the programmers. but now that i know about this, beating game faster=sooo much easier
