Before I accepted Christ as God, Lord and Savior I was merely a church attender. But when I received Him, my life changed. I now feel guilt whenever I sin and I feel the Holy Spirit's presence in my life. My life from then was like a roller coaster ride.

I have experienced the greatest spiritual high in my life this year which was when I went on a short term mission trip in Vietnam. My passion for God and for missions was awoke. However, I also took a great nose dive this year as well. This happened right after the mission trip. Today I'm stuck in sin. Im addicted to drugs, porn, immorality etc... Its like I'm rebelling against God for no good reason.
My problem is, im not that kind of Christian that stumbles "sometimes" more like "always" and It keeps on getting worse. Am I a False Believer? Why cant I seem to overcome my fleshly desires. I have a hard time saying no to my self. I know it requires Grace for me to do His will and I need to rely on Him to enable me to obey Him. To reconcil appearant contradictions in the Bible with "inheritance", there has to be two types of inheritances. Otherwise the bible is contradicting itself by saying on one verse that our inheritance is guaranteed by the seal of the Holy Spirit, and by other verses that suggest people can lose their inheritance if they sin. Also, if Jesus commands His followers to forgive 70 * 7, this video suggests He doesn't do so Himself to people who sin and keep on asking for forgiveness. Reconcile.
Our guarantee of inheritance therefore is the seal of the Holy Spirit which was received (Eph 1:13 - In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.) Once you actually receive Jesus after you hear a presentation of the Gospel, you are sealed. I don't agree with the word "saved" the way it is used since it leads to confusion and think the word "sealed" should be used instead.
Why are people's spirit's saved by the fire (1 Cor 3:15) in this particular judgment? There is a cross-reference in 1 Cor 5:5 of someone's spirit also being saved to the day of the Lord Jesus Christ? Also in Ephesians 1:13 ("sealed with Holy Spirit of promise who is the GUARANTEE of our inheritance UNTIL the redemption of the purchased possession) and Eph 3:30 "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you are SEALED for the day of redemption).

He is speaking about working against sin issues. If you have them and accept them and say "Oh well...I can go right on sinning because I am saved and don't need to worry about it." then you are saying a lie to yourself. Believing is not equal with trusting. For example I believe historically that Buddha existed, but I don't TRUST him for my salvation. The same goes with Jesus Christ, if you only believe the history is right about His existence yet you don't TRUST Him for your salvation, that doesn't make you any different than the demons (James 2:19-20).

I rather also listen to Jesus than man because man says different things and it confused me and judges only. I also don´t think man can make a judgement on how you experience God. I am being honest here. Since two years God changed my mind and direction. I was addicted before to worldy ways and since then I am out to lead a good life but stumble every once and a while. I always ask forgiveness and promise to do better. But I still stumble. How is it possible for a man to be perfect (like Jesus)? Never lie, never being jealous, never feel lust etc. It is not. What i go through right now is that I put my trust in Jesus but sometimes I end up falling apart and I eventually ask for forgiveness but then I do it again. If I were to die after I sinned but I did not repent would I go to HELL?

The key words are 'practicing a life of sin,'and 'sinning.'In Galatians 5 it says if we PRACTICE these things........there will be times when we sin as christians,but we should not make a lifestyle habit of doing it.Let us also remember,that for young christians it will take time to understand this,so it is up to us who are more mature in the faith should gently encourage them.

What is a "life style of righteousness"? You seem to say it is the law or commandments!But the scripture says. "love covers a multitude of sin"! We must learn to love, with the love of God. The love Jesus demonstrated! Love is the fulfilling of the law. If a brother desires some selfish hurtful lust. He needs to be restored to humility. That is, we are all unworthy of eternal life, and have it only by faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. So no one deserves more=(lust) then others. IMHO

He is speaking about working against sin issues. If you have them and accept them and say "Oh well...I can go right on sinning because I am saved and don't need to worry about it." then you are saying a lie to yourself. We have to work daily against that nature or we are saved in name only and no different than the world. We are ordered to be different. We must struggle and overcome otherwise to whom do we belong?

I need to work on my anger. Lately I've been feeling more than usual. You're right - that list of the "lusts of the flesh" are not what characterizes our hearts. The flesh crops up, and we have to subject it's behavior to the Spirit. The flesh lusts against the Spirit? - as the Bible says? They are opposed to each other, but we do have a choice and Pwr in the Lord to overcome it.

@MQ1611 To inherit the kingdom of God means to be saved not the rewards. You mean you can be saved even if you practice those things that God hates? a true Christian produces fruits of righteousness. Jesus said in Matt 7 that you will know them by their fruit. A Christian may stumble but will not continue in sin. Easy believism is rampant now in our generation, and it condemns a lot of who are deceived.

Galations 5:2` only says, "shall not inherit the kingdom of God" which as NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with not being saved. The saved man is saved, end of story. That verse has to do with losing "the reward of the inheritance" (Col. 3:24)... lost REWARDS not a lost soul.
You have a lot to learn. 1 John 3:9 says NO SINS allowed: not even ONE. The new man inside cannot sin, only the old body. You are making a mess of New Testament salvation and perverting the scriptures teaching lies.

Excellent Message !!! The key word you used was Repent. None of us in our flesh like that word but it is something Jesus calls us to do. Turning away from the worldly ways and beliefs. We can not do that on our own,correct. But thank God Jesus gives us His grace which allows us to tap into His power through the Holy Spirit to change our lives. Its not a works based faith but a following Jesus based faith. I'm a testimony , Jesus can change the most terrible of characters and heal abuse trauma.

I believe in my HEART these things to be true, I grew up around lawlessness and had been arounf it all my life then I was saved by Jesus and have been trying to lead the Christian life as the word has liad out, the problem is that I still am around lawlessness at work, my neighborhood, even in my church. And everyday the demons you talk out charge me trying to convince me that I am not of Jesus but of Satan. I am trying to stop them but they have had some success that has weaked my walk

Believing is not equal with trusting. For example I believe historically that Buddha existed, but I don't TRUST him for my salvation. The same goes with Jesus Christ, if you only believe the history is right about His existence yet you don't TRUST Him for your salvation, that doesn't make you any different than the demons (James 2:19-20).
