I am very impressed ! It is my dream to be able to work/ volunteer at such a lovely and healthy transition into learning about ones Mental Illness to become informed and have awareness and true chance at recovery in a compassionate setting.. If I go and visit my daughter who lives near by there I would love to do a WRAP group or some thing with you. Until now I live in Alaska and hope to help more in housing and respite care.
@TheLaughingponygina I'm quite sure that he's not talking about "learning about ones mental illness", most people who seek the service of such homes are of the very strong opinion that "mental illness" is not the biological "disease" that psychiatrists and the public like to claim it is for obvious purposes of subduing and drugging people who are declared to have it. People go to places like this to ESCAPE and HIDE from psychiatry and it's labels and drugs!
Have you read Robert Whitaker's Anatomy of An Epidemic?
