  • I really wish some of the mega milloinaires would open some of these candlepin lanes across the whole country!!! IT"S AWESOME regular bowling is toooo easy, and this looks like a lot more fun! p.s. rob stone blows ass!

  • This brings back such great childhood memories of watching this on Channel 5. I hate that still style is only around in the tri-state area of ME, NH, and MA. Living in the south makes me want to take a vacation just to go bowling back home. Thanks for posting this.

  • I live in California how come we don't have candlepin bowling like you guys have how come we can't see it on tv in the bay area

  • I don't know if you know, but it started in Worcester, Massachusetts, and has only really spread out in New England and a small part of Canada. You can't even find it in Connecticut, which is another part of New England, and which is only about 30 mins - 1 hr away from Worcester. So it's not just California that's missing it, it's really just about everywhere.

  • This was my house I bowled @.... LONG LIVE SAMMY WHITE's Brighton Bowl!!!!! This was the last one done @ Sammy Whites. It was closed in May 1986 :(

  • With Candlepin Bowling, you get 3 balls per frame, just like 5 pin.

    William.

  • How good physical shape are these bowlers in when in league play?

  • i like the look of tom olsta in 00:18

  • Look at John Miller's and the scorekeeper's hair!! My dad had hair like that in the 70's.

  • is it neccesary to throw the ball that hard?

  • If you expect some decent pin action, yes.

    BMP

  • Ive been wanting to see this for a long time

    thank you

  • This makes me want to go back to MA to go candlepin bowling so BAD!!! this is awesome. RIP Don Gillis, you will be missed. How come Rob Stone couldn't die instead?

  • Then who would "HAMBONE" into America's television sets on Sundays?

I'm sorry, that sounded kinda dirty.

    Anyway, yeah, RIP Don Gillis.

  • Who's Rob Stone?

  • what do you mean?

  • Someone on here said he wishes Rob Stone died instead of Don Gillis.

  • Rob Stone is the clown that sits mikeside along w. Randy Peterson on espn's PBA telecasts. He offers nothing except misguided enthusiasm.... I'd rather listen to paint dry

RIP Chris Schenkel.... A better bowling commentator that wasnt a bowler himself I never heard

  • So good.
