Apparently the original version of this video featured the other band members, including Tuomas singing. But they didn't like it and scrapped it :-( I'd have liked to see it though. Tuomas isn't a great singer, but his hushed vocal style was interesting and lent another quality to the music.
Part of this video was shot in Henningsvær, on the Lofoten Islands, Norway. I went there in 2009 for a night or two, but didn't recognize it much from this video, haha.
Wow. I don't have a lot to say about this. Excuse me but nothing but satanic crap. I found my youngest daughter listening to this band, and now that I've looked even deeper into them, I know that this is nothing a pop goth band crying for attention that should keep their mouth off the word of god, and my 15 year old daughter!
If one choses his favorite singer (or anything in the world for that matter) one shouldn't look at how much or many there is on the planet.
I think both are very skilled, although Anette is young and less experienced than Tarja. I couldn't chose because both are on a different song level, Tarja is great for lets say an ophera, while Anette can do other songs better.
Again, when I chose between something like a singer I close my eyes, forget about everything and then think what I like more.
Anette and Tarja are both awsome singers.... but i like Tarja's voice better because ... umm well you know...... not everyone has her voice.... its so unique.... and Anette's voice is beautiful but not unique.... -.- ... but i love them both :D.... and Tarja gives me this vampiric feeling :D
i prefer Taria than Anettte! When taria was in Nightwish , Nightwish was more famous and better. But i like nightwish now too ;) Uwielbiam Nightwisha, choć wolałam go gdy Tarja w nim śpiewałam. Smutno mi trochę gdy pomyślę, że wyżucili tarje... Im sad when i' thinking about this in Nightwish there isn't Taria ... Anette is pretty and she has got pretty voice, but Tarja's voice is stronger and more beautiful =) (POLAND)
@MrGerald202 lol, well she does, arab women can be very attractive and far more nicer than most girls ive dealt with in the states. but yeah, anyway, i still envy the guy that married the woman in this band. though im actually not sure which one it is in the video, do you know, gerald?
@kanelives1220 how old are they? i virtually know nothing about them, except i think they combine elements of celtic music and playstyle with metal very very good. they are actually one of the few metal bands i find soothing for my nerves at times, lol.
