  • Indeed you are correct that cut potatoes and onions are easier to serve, however in the pressure cooker you run the risk of grossly overcooking them! Thanks for the feed back and all the very best.

  • This looks good, but I'd prefer cut potatoes and chopped onions in my soup, its easier to serve that way...

  • to save even more money: a quarter cup of red wine vinegar (a large bottle from the 99 Cent Store is, you guessed it, $.99 cents) does a good job of taking the place of a cup or so red wine in a dish such as this. Also, I wouldn't peel or cut up the onion or garlic : brown onion skins add nice color to soups and stews and who knows, there might be some good nutrition in them too! I would, however, brown the sausage or other meats.
