  • dude i work for york! xD

  • I see you have the Radio Shack 150 in one project kit. I got mine over thirty years ago. Learned a lot from it. I am looking at the Testo 550 on ebay for about $350. I hate to spend that much for a gauge set but times change, and the thing looks like it be very convenient as compared to carrying thermometers and charts around.

  • Hey, just got mine too!...will test it out this week!...and like you said...affordable!!

  • @JaimeAcevedo40 If your like me, its about time. I would have loved to have had this thing for the last 20 years.

  • Man Jason , that is a nice set up !!! I have been using my fieldpiece for sub-cooling and a regular probe for super heat at the same time ... No more SATURATION MATH for you , damn just hook it up and do both your clamps and WHAM , there she is (COOL) !!! Did she finally come up to 10 degrees sub-cooling ? What were you shooting for on super-heat ? (15)?

I am jealous , I have to pack my specticles around now to read my gauges ...lol

  • @fritzhvac Thanks, Sub cool = 8, SH = 14. It was a cool day about 70' and WB was low inside the house as well.

I tired of straining to read my gauges, This wasn't a problem with my 22 set. But the 410 set was hard to read. No more of that. Digital all the way. No flutter to warn of non-condensible's though. The old unit sitting next to this one was a 3.5 ton unit connected to an even older 2.5 ton coil. How do like that?
