@TheExploit91 FF is underground, they sold a lot of one album, but their stroy and their music is widely unknown and untold in the media, whereas pantera had a lot of bad boy pose(Phil) though they were not sold out like metallica, but they went into big rock star style, I gues that's why they broke up. FF still plays in small places no being well advertised or anything, only fans go to their concert. About the music, yes, pantera is more talented, but FF is pretty good as well.

Pantera is that band that everyone ran to because Phil's voice was different. on a technical comparison (the complexity of the songs, how much musicianship is needed to play) most Fear Factory songs beat almost everything Pantera did.

Demanufacture was recorded in Bearsville studio in New York. The engineer was Colin Richardson from the UK. The album was finished in the UK due to Colin's Visa running out. Obsolete was recorded in L.A. where the band members are from. They used a differen't producer and studio. The sound quality of Obsolete is definately not as good as Demanufacture. I visited them in Bearsville when recording and the members stayed at my house for two weeks prior to hitting the studio. They are really Kool!
