  • Hi! Have you thought about - fast abs magic (do a google search)? Ive heard some great things about it and my cooworker got great 6 pack abs and lost a lot of weight with it.

  • hi. what would you advise for losing fat and toning around the glute, hip and thigh area?

  • Nice video. Just a question though. I've been doing interval training for a longer duration than 20 minutes, often for one hour. I usually do 10 mins LI, 5 mins HI, for an hour. Is an hour of this too long for one workout session - i.e. should I spread it over three 20 minute sessions over the whole day?

  • thanks

  • My name is Nini, and I was raped before I died. I use to enjoy pain and now I inflict it upon people. I was tortured and raped until I could no longer breathe. Those meanies now suffer and die, and those who do not repost this to 5 videos will die too. I hate this too but I believe at the strike of 12 am, those who did not repost this will die a horrible death after seeing a bloody face covered with long black hair. Those who repost this will get a kiss from their crush.

  • Its HIIT workout.

  • was it me or was the table moving in the jumping jacks xD

  • i need to lose both belly and chest fat... is there a recommended workout you suggest for both of these.. also i do not have ay equipment and i would rather not start spending money on expensive sh*t...(even if the workout is 2 different routines as showed in the video[dun-bell, jumping jacks])...

  • Nice explanation but the demonstration was off, let me explain why. In the venerable explanation for the most part summed it up he gave reasonable explanation of how this system works, but the visual explanation runs into trouble because we see the explainer do his thing after telling the viewers all about high intensity and low intensity, when the fact is he is doing high and zero intensity.

  • awesome video!!!!

  • should i do these workouts? im only 11 and 105 pounds

  • @bwfextreme Why shouldn't you?

  • should i do these workouts? im only 11

  • Thank you, I like this

  • There is one thing I dont agree to. You said that If you are running all out and giving it your all for 20secs you can rest. If you run and stop right away you are just jackin up your heart, running and stopping right away is bad. So to all of you who are doing this, ok run for 20secs but, don't stop right away just walk slowly. Everything else was great though good job.

  • Wow. Very thorough and fantastic explanation! It almost makes me excited to workout!

  • Great video!

I was wondering, I'm pretty slim everywhere on my body aside from my hips and backside, so I was wondering if there was any particular interval workout you could recommend for me?

  • this is cool!

  • fuck reading i stoped at 3:00 fuck that >:(

  • hey there...i was just wondering about the diet to be followed for this type of work out...im a girl, 19 years old, i weigh 63kgs n im 1.68 meters. i put on a lot of weight recently as a result of sitting at home n doing nothing (very bad of me i know) but now i wanna get fit agn n have tht great body i had before...help??

  • Good instructional video but is that seriously how you do your jumping jacks? that's like the most retarded way to do a jumping jack.

  • Love this vid, it's really helped me with what I need to do to do HIIT CORRECTLY!!

Can I ask a question though? I have stored fat around my belly (I'm male, 27 and am slim except for this bit of belly fat and - i hate to say it - a tiny bit of man boob as a result of a poor diet and no excercise). I am 10.5 stone, 5'6'' with a BMI of 22%. Do you think doing HIIT will help me burn the fat around these areas or will I have to consider surgery of some sort? Thanks again :-)

  • @PCFreeek2003

You definitely won't need to do surgery, don't worry. Just focus on a good workout plan that incorporates both resistance training and intervals plus good, clean, healthy eating and you can easily get in shape.

It will take discipline, sure, but it is not that hard to do.

    Good luck!

  • @PCFreeek2003 yo don't listen to this bum. listen to someone who actually works out an hour a day and watches every calorie he eats. here's what you do. do cardio and burn more calories than you take. and there's no easy way to anything. it takes months to gain any noticeable muscle and months to burn any noticeable fat and there's nothing like the reward you get after a hard day's training which is confidence and accomplishment.

  • This has really helped,Thank You : )

  • @wheelywot Pleasure!

  • Its very important to buy shoes that fit properly.

  • interesting video, thank you losefatatwork :).

one question, do you think that choosing one exercise and sticking to it could do much more bad than choosing many? if for example i only do running in a interval fashion (run-rest-run-rest) will it grant me the same results? at the end is all about heart rate and oxygen comsumption right? O_o

  • @atammarco You're welcome man, thanks for the comment!

There's no definitive answer really as far as I can see. I like to use the bike for intervals because it's really easy to transition from very slow to very fast intervals, but really whatever works for you is fine.

It's always good to mix things up every now and then but it's more important that you just get it done, as you suggested in your comment :)

  • heres my routine, 1 min jumpin jacks 30 second rest 1 min windmills and then the routine starts again.. i do this for 20 minutes... is this a good workout?

  • Is it true that low intensity jogging will burn fat but you will keep your lean muscles, and that HIIT also burn more fat but you will lose muscles?

  • Hi & thanks for the comment!

I would say that statement is only true for hardcore bodybuilders who are very near contest shape & have to do every tiny thing they can to maintain muscle.

However, for the average person I think it is a HUGE mistake to do low intensity jogging instead of HIIT. You will burn fewer calories both during & after your workout & you will spend WAY more time working out. If you eat right & train right, HIIT will NOT get in the way of building muscle. Hope that helps!

  • Thanks for your help

Here is my workout routine I warmup on the treadmill 5 mins(Brisk walking), then I lift weights for about one hour, and after that I go on the treadmill run at 5spd for 30 sec to 1 min, then walk at 3spd for 60 tp 90 sec. I do this for 25 min then cool down the last 5 min.

Am I Doing the HIIT to long? Thanks again

  • Sure thing!

    Here are my suggestions:

Warmup - Get some dynamic flexibility work in there as well as walking. I'll do a video for you to show you some suggested exercises.

Weights - An hour is great but it's likely you don't need to do so much especially if you're doing HIIT as well. Try supersetting exercises and resting less to cut your time down.

HIIT - Sounds fine but if you're doing it after workouts 20 min is the max you should do.

    Hope that helps!

  • Thanks again!

I read from a source that 30 mins of cardio HIIT isn't nothing, only if your in great shape wanting to maintain your body. If that your really serious about losing weight you need one hour. Is that true?

  • You're very welcome!

One hour of HIIT? I would NEVER recommend that to anyone. It's completely unnecessary.

Here's the principle to remember - as intensity goes up, duration goes down and vice versa. So if you exercise at high intensity, your workouts must be shorter. If you exercise at low intensity, they must be longer. I advocate for high intensity because it saves time and gets better results.

Also exercising for too long can raise your cortisol (stress hormone) levels which isn't good

  • what are the cons of stress hormones?

  • There is a high correlation between raised cortisol levels and stored body fat.

Basically, if you're causing your body to produce cortisol, you're causing it to store fat too.

    Not good!

  • So i can do hiit with jumping jacks??

  • Absolutely! You can do HIIT with any exercise (although I wouldn't recommend it for really heavy weighted exercises that require good technical form like back squats). You can mix up exercises each interval however you like: do some lower body, some upper body - or you can just stick with one exercise all the way through. Be creative and have some fun!

  • Thanks for your help!

    I will start tommorow!

Do you think I could lose 2 inches from my waist in 10 weeks with the proper diet?(And HIIT)

  • No problem! Good luck with starting your program!

I don't want to promise you any results, but if you REALLY lock in your diet and you utilize HIIT fat burning workouts as well as micro workouts throughout your day, it's definitely possible to lose 2 inches in 10 weeks.

What book or resource are you using to help you plan your diet? The way you eat is very very important!

  • I don't really have a book,

But i will try to eat 6 small meals each day!

And include a lot of fruits and vegetables in my diet!

  • Glad it helped! Will be posting more videos on the subject very soon!

  • Thanks alot thats was a great info... appreciated dear :)
