toronto played well seeming the difference between the squads and leagues
watch out for some of those youngsters in aston villa, such as
agbonlahor
ashley young
nigel reo coker
curtis davies
some of these will definetely be playing for england next year 1st 11
ashley young this year got 2nd most assits in the premier league and won pfa young player of the year with ronaldo, whilst being in the dream team premiership 11!!!
I like to think that Villa and Toronto have formed a bond. It was a VERY good game and Toronto put up a fight fight.I'm a Villa fan and I will be following Toronto FC from now on as my MLS team.
"naaa naaa naaaaa nanana naaaaaaaaaa na na na naaaaaaaa EDDDDUUUUUUU!"
was really surprised at how well toronto played, (even more surprised that luke moore scored a goal lol) will any of the pre-season games this year by watchable? zoltan steiber looks promising, i would follow toronto after this but unfortunately juan pablo angel is at new york lol
lol there goalie looks like aaron lennon, and no there not gonna field a full side, purely to test out new players and the youth, as soon as they got level we got bored and thought ok lets win, bye luke moore
ofcourse villa arent gona play their best. they have the league next month and they aint gona play their best players. villa would crush them if it was a serious game.
I was at that game. Seriously good stadium Toronto have built themselves. I was seated in the stand where you get the view of the CN Tower, and it is seriously impressive. And credit to Toronto they played very well against a pretty poor Villa... although it was pre-season so you can forgive Villa for not being that good (as a Villa fan, that's my excuse. lol).
21 major honours villa. 1 for shite small heath. Villa have been in the top league 111 years. birmingham. where have you been? fun in lower leagues is it?
im glad to have luke moore back, remember the boy has been out for close to a year! so a hatrick this soon after his return you cant mess about, a great player just entering his prime! and believe me i love toronto, but i have supported villa since i was 5 so you know where my heart laid in that game!
Oh Suffering Villa, suffer no more. We have a striker and his name is Moore. Stiliyan Petrov - I take it all back son, you were magnificent. Great team performance against a very useful Toronto team.
Nice play from Young and Petrov for the 1st 2 goals. Great stuff for Moore and Reo Coker did well when he came on. Not looking good for Tommy tho - we may have to invest in a new keeper!
Upload the highlights from the Columbus game on Saturday if you can - nice one!

Forget Juan, he slagged off the Villa when he left! lol. Zoltan does look a pretty spicy prospect, I agree.

umm... Toronto was playing their 4th string goaltender...
Aston Villa was not the only squad that played their subs... Toronto did too, no point injuring our best players over a friendly

WHAT is a goaltender? Did you mean Goalkeeper? And if so, it was all his fault huh?

villa should be quite excited that they scored 4 goals on an 18-year-old goalkeeper who had never played for the team before ;)

Toronto deserved to win....
Carew was offside and Dichio's goal that was called back wasnt offside not to mention they ran the play for the second half.
Nonetheless Villa looked good!
