i know i'm gonna be flamed and blammed but i kinda like newer COF a bit better. i respect thiers roots of they're sound, but i just respect them more as gothic rather than the extreme band they were in the beginning, it just sound more elusive and dark to me.

@1NINJAD Nothing sounds darker than Dusk and Her Embrace ! This album is a vampiric masterpiece, combining passionate love with malice and unbearable madness. The ambience is incredibly gloomy and blackish, the keyboards are hypnotic, Dani's high screams are maddening and the female voices are very raw. Its almost scary at some point, stifling.

this album had a very radio disney quality throughout a majority of the album. i only liked one of the songs (this one, even tho it ALSO sounds radio disney, just better executed), and thought the rest of this album was quite poor and forgettable. and i listened to it MANY times to give it a fair shot.

Its really a shame how faded COF became. Dusk and her embrace was my absolute favorite album of all time. I tried to stand by the band but their recent work failed me miserably. Not to mention the horrible show that I went to in Dallas 2009.They need a new line up for starters..The creativity seems to have drowned, almost like their too lazy to actually create anything except what the company wants. They might as well drown! I'll forever love the old Cradle, but I won't listen to anything new.
