  • omg congrats! i feel like i've seen that commercial :D

  • It looked really good, some shots had a lower color quality though than the rest, and it was too long. Win both ways by cutting out the lesser shots.

  • @TutorialGuyDudeMan yeah, some were edited differently on purpose to eliminate noise retain detail. I had to shoot at iso1600 at some points. Normally, I would have shot with lights and set my camera at around iso 200, but the restaurant always had too much traffic to do so. Important thing is, the restaurant owners loved it. :)

  • @TutorialGuyDudeMan Also, the original edit was 40 seconds, which I did like better, but they wanted some additional shot that bumped it up to 1:10. Got to be flexible you know ;)

  • Wow, that was really good! Keep going! I think your going to do something amazing farther in life!! :P

  • Oh wow! Congratz! :)

  • Great and well done :)

  • That's great, and congrats! It actually made me want to go there haha.

  • Very beautiful.

  • Haha!! That was so cool. I'd totally hit that place up.

  • mad good

  • really great ! l loved it :)

  • can u say me why i subbed?

  • Good work man! I'm positive this won't be your last commercial gig, I bet in less than 5 years you'll be doing a superbowl commercial!!! :)

  • Very well done.

    Congratulations on getting the gig.

Constructive criticism... I would like to see a version that is edited a little slower and had the same heavy contrast through out. Some of the shots had a muddy contrast :)

  • @KBDProductionsTV Yeah, thats because because I had to shoot at high ISO levels, I used greyscale to reduce noise on some of the footage. I'm glad you liked it though! :)

  • @KBDProductionsTV Also, this is going to be a 2 part commercial. The tavern portion (this commercial) has a more upbeat and speedy feel, whereas when we shoot the commercial advertising the main dining room, there will be slower music and the clips will be drawn out longer.

  • @Alvinwhatup2 Nice! I look forward to seeing it. :)

  • @Ryuuhanna 0:08 believe me I tried editing the sound both ways, it just sounded better with a little drag to the next scene. and 0:39 was cut short because of the lack of motion in the shot, which is a shame, because I really like the subject matter in that shot. At the time the particular shot was taken, i had no means of getting my camera rigs up near the tall ceilings properly, I had to hold up my monopod to get the shot. Just sayin' :)

  • So were they pleased with the end result? I would of been very happy, nice one dude.

  • @bexhillguy Oh yeah! They really liked it!

  • Very very nice :D

  • i liked the speed of the video. even though the video was mostly just stock type footage it still kept me interested. not bad for a first time thing. :D

  • what do u edit with man?

    that was amazing!

  • thats really good man!

  • Alvin, you have come such a long way since your earlier videos. I'm glad to see that you have moved on to professional projects. Good luck for the future man!

  • THIS IS AMAZING!! What Lens did you use?

Because i Have a Canon T2i And Need a Film Lens

  • Very nice; now I'm hungry. And want to list to jazz...

  • That was awesome! You should teach me some camera techniques. I got a new canon 60d and I dont know much about dslrs or the rule of thirds etc. And what camera do you use. It looks like a t3i or a 7d

  • @Ninjastas I use the Canon T2I :) To be honest, I don't know many techniques, I just shoot what I think looks good. I definitely have some equipment recommendations though.

  • Thanks guys! You are all awesome! Really appreciate your support!

  • Great. You should do work for more businesses.
